Vu Quy 1 Hotel

My wife and I got this hotel as part of our vacation package. The hotel is exactly what it is, a two star hotel for a very good price. The two stars however don't take away from the fact that the rooms were clean, bathroom facilities were well made and also clean. The bed was pretty uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. There is a locker box in the closet, as well as two silk robes. The mini fridge only contained water, which was fine by us, as we didn't stay at the hotel much. The A/C worked fine, which was pretty awesome considering how hot it was during the day and night when we were there. The receptionist during the day spoke fairly good English, but the rest of the crew barely understood any foreign languages. Google Translate would be your best friend in this hotel. The service level once they understood what was needed however was great. They were accommodating and helpful in all the requests. The hotel has it's own little bar area, and if you wanted breakfast they will bring it for you from a place across the street. Overall this was exactly what we paid for, as we planned a lot of travel through Vietnam and did not stay at the actual hotel for more than 4 days out of 14 that we were in Vietnam. The location is also great, it's across the street from Nha Trang beach and the beach club which was connected to our hotel. There is a local market also right across the street that works in the evenings. It is a 10 minute walk to the European District from there, but we were not bothered by it, since taxi's are super cheap and work off the meter. Our room was also on top floor, didn't have balcony, but had a window with a great view of the ocean.
