Tai Phat hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the centre. A two minute walk to Bui Vien street, for cheap food/drinks on the street. Clubs are around as well, but way more expensive. Rooms are fine, toilet and shower in your own room and air condition + fan in the room. Personnel is really friendly, not everyone speaks fluently English though. Been to this place twice in the same month, both good experiences!
