We have stayed here recently and found the hotel the best choice for my family. The colonial ambiance of the hotel, the helpfulness of the staff, the cozy interior decoration, the nice breakfast, and the great location are the points we think we will come back

Comfortable room, if a little gloomy, good shower pressure in spacious bathroom.  Wonderful ancient lift and hardwood staircases.  Breakfast was acceptable although some of the food was cold. Furniture in the lobby area is somewhat worn and the bar closes at 9.30,  Welcoming and helpful staff.
The facilities of the plush hotel next door can be used and it is a short walk to the lake or to town centre.
Rather disappointed that a hotel of this size and reputation has no outside space/garden only a couple of tables in a driveway.

This is a very centrally located hotel and is grand in the 50’s style. Reception and bar are very well appointed and my twin room was very comfortable and inviting. The buffet breakfast will cater to most needs and is quite extensive. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would definitely go back. 

We took a private car transfer from Mui Ne. 5 hours of trip journey, unpaved road, bumpy ride and a lot of potholes, was a disaster ride myself and my wife ended have car sick when we arrive at the hotel.

This hotel look well upkeep and fantastic from the outside. Moment when 1 step into front entrance "woah !!" it makes feel like step into another world, totally a different kind of world if you have enough polluted air, chaotic traffic and noisy road in Vietnam. 

Check in process were fast, but hotel keep your passport, both of ours. Bell boy were good, lead us to our room together with our luggage, show us the light switch and what is in the room. We got a standard room with very good price. Breakfast included at lower ground, very bright restaurant, food were ok though to much of the choice, no complain.

However there are little complain to our room, the next day morning when we thought of having shower before we go out, "no hot water supply" call reception, said they doing maintenance hot water supply should be back in 30 minutes. We waited, but 1.5 hours past still no, so we end up cold shower, imagine having cold water shower at 15 Celsius outside. But thank got it has heater lamp inside bathroom.

Spider cob on ceiling, cracked beside table lamp, clogged basin. Noisy neighbor, if you need to open window for some fresh air, no air con inside room but has fan. TV box, but there is a night we thought of order food to our room sadly hotel doesn't have this service, alternative they leave 2 cup of instant noodle with additional price to pay if you consume.

Location is within walk distance to night market, use your google map, there is a shortcut small alley to go, but beware of dog dung.

Great hotel with colonial ambiance

Grand Old Lady

The hotel was just OK the rooms were very small. service was excellent. breakfast buffet had a ton of food on it it was almost all Vietnamese food and not very tasty.

Trip advisor requires more taxed I would stay here maybe if you’re going to go out but I thought it was a little bit overpriced
