The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter, which is where you want to be as a tourist. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable by Western standards. Don't expect all the amenities of a Hilton or Marriott - if you want that then stay there. But you won't find those in the Old Quarter and then you'll be missing out. The staff at the front desk, Anthony and Andrew, were very friendly and bent over backwards to meet every request: Walking tour of Old Hanoi? check. Directions to an ATM? check. Good restaurant nearby? check. Nearby pharmacy? check. Prepaid taxi to airport? check.The rate was an absolute bargain for the location, room and staff. Very highly recommended.
