Duy Tan Apartments

I stayed in the Duy Tan Apartments for one month organised through Hanoistay Real Estate although I see on hotel booking sites that apartments can also be rented by the night. The two-bed apartment I rented (602) is huge. Very big living room with a small kitchen at one end and two large bedrooms one of which is en-suite. The apartment is well furnished and a great place for an extended stay. Wi-fi is generally very good with the odd blip. The location is fantastic on one of Hanoi's best food streets, next door to Puku Pub and a couple of doors down from Ngon Villa both of which I recommend. The rest of the street is made up of mainly local food vendors selling a wide range of local food. It is a 15 minute walk along Hang Bong passing lots of art and craft shops to Hoan Kiem Lake. The one downside is that the apartment block backs onto a railway line. Trains run in the evenings when they do use their horns and overnight when they generally don't. During the evening these can clearly be heard but they never woke me up in the month that I stayed.
