The hostel was really nice. the rooms were very neat, you have a rooftop bar with interesting but free beer, a nice breakfast and a pool. I can definetly recommend this hostel for every traveler. have a good one. The staff was very kind especially Tracey and the girl who was quite amused about our german names.

Tracy was amazing, brilliant service! Great hostel and a great vibe! In a great location with plenty of travel head atmosphere. Also free beers from 6:30-7:30 banging. Always events each day including beer pong ladies night. Highly recommend!

The hostel is located in the centre. It's close to everything. Even though the city is noisy, you can't hear anything in the hostel. The breakfast is good and the beds very comfortable. The best thing of the hostel is that the staff is very helpful and friendly. I had a great time there. 

I stayed at the Babylon Garden for 4 nights recently. Rooms were clean and comfortable, rooftop bar served nice food, staff were always friendly. But my most positive experience by far was with Han, a member of the travel advice staff (they work beside the receptionists booking day trips etc. for guests). Not only did help my sister and I book trips to Ha Giang and Halong Bay which we’re a lot of fun and good value. But when I got back to Hanoi after my trip to Ha Giang and realised I had left my bag with all my valuables in it behind me, he came to the rescue. He called anyone who could possible have had it (hostel owners, bus drivers etc) and had tracked it down in 30 mins. He encouraged us to continue with our travels and said that he would take care of everything. He arranged for the bag to be dropped to the hostel in Hanoi and even wanted to personally deliver it to Ninh Binh where we were staying at the time! I insisted on returning to the hostel to collect the bag once it arrived. Han was so friendly as always when I met him again and genuinely happy that I was reunited with my valuables! He didn’t want to accept the tip I gave him but I left it on the table. I then asked him to help me book a bus so I could return to Ninh Binh where I was staying by this stage. He literally ran out onto the street flagged down a bus, and as I got on it I saw him use my tip money to pay the driver! 

I was so so lucky to meet Han, I expect my month of traveling would have been very different if I hadn’t! Thank you again ❤️

Great time here, only let down was the hao long Bay cruise, but the hostel itself was clean, night big beds and a personal fan! Wifi good, staff were wonderful. The breakfast was standard, pool small but still nice, sky bar was very appealing :)

Babylon garden hostel is located in the Old Quarter near to Hoan Kiem Lake it is an ideal location close to many favorite attractions and has the charm of traditional Vietnam.
The staff in the hostel are friendly and helpful the Bar staff also very nice Tuan anh has always been good to the patrons

This is my home in Hanoi. First time I came Vietnam 16 months ago. Every time I come to Hanoi, I stay here. They have good staff with big smile all the time. 
I get used to with everything here: buffet breakfast, free beer everyday, comfortable bed and all friendly staff (I know all the name of them already)
They also have a lot kind of tour and others service as well.

Enjoyed my stay at the Babylon Garden hostel! Perfect location, close to the Lake, bars and restaurants, night market. Everything’s super convenient. The hostel is nice, clean rooms, breakfast included, a cool bar on the rooftop with a view. The staff was helpful, Rodrigo is super cool and friendly:))) everything’s good, highly recommended!!

We went as a group of twelve and it was perfect, the staff was friendly, the food was good and the manager helped us book tours to Ha Long Bay. The pool was especially nice after some hot and humid days.

First Hanoi Experience

Pros: location. Rooms. Hot shower. Rooftop bar. Affordable. 
Cons: pool was soooo cold. The bartenders in the evening were not pleasant. 

Overall, would recommend. I had such an unpleasant experience with the bartenders that I had to come and write a review. Every other staff I interacted with was nice! Would recommend this place.

Han is the best person ever!!!

Good location in Hanoi - walking distance to major attractions and great restaurants. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Our private room was small, but clean and had everything that we needed. The breakfast was great and there was free beer on the roof in the evenings. 

Awesome place for the price. Would recommend for travelers on a budget.

Best team, so cute ! The staff is for me the best staff I have see in a hostel or hotel .. !! 👊💯🔝 The room is clean, quiet & secure. You can rent a nice bike for only 200k/day.
The swimming pool is cool, for sure coming back. Nice place for French people same to me. Hanoi is a good city, nice people and safe !
