Taking into account that this blunt tool allows me to rate 5 stars for budget accomodation or a senior suite at the Marriott Hotel.... My wife and I just enjoyed 2 nights at Nam Long Plus over the weekend. Luckily we were allowed in early after the train arrived but this of course always subject to availability. We booked a twin bed room with air con, bar fridge, stand alone fan and kettle. Linen was spotless. Bathroom larger than normal and hot water excellent. The room was immaculately clean as were the corridor and foyer. A lift takes you up to the top floor with seating and a beaut view point across the city and downriver which is worth a photo at night. There are several tables and chairs downstairs with a small range of drinks kept chilli. Huda beer available at 20000 vnd per can. We were not hassled about a tour to Phong Nam but you only need ask for advice. A very friendly and welcoming place ideally Located in a quiet side street.
