I'm quite surprised by the many bad reviews as I had a pleasant stay. Yes, it's an old hotel that is in urgent need of a refreshment, but it's cheap and the staff really made me feel at home.  Breakfast was good, the room and bed were good enough and there was a nice hot shower.
The staff organized a 2-day tour with home-stay for me which was perfectly organized and a good memory. One of the staff members even gave me a personal tour of the countryside and the Cham village near the home-stay.
For this price, don't expect the Hilton.

Pleasant stay

Just had a nights stay here while exploring the Mekong Delta. The staff were friendly and our room was basic but big, a bit of damp on the walls but clean and comfortable. We had a nice breakfast that we didn't know was free, good nights sleep. Don't expect all the bells and whistles of a posh hotel, this hotel is basic, cheep and fine.....also very fast WiFi :-)

Lovely Staff, In need of some refurbishment.

We tried to stay in this hotel even though comments were not good, but after the first night we had to look for a new one. Lot of noice from the street is coming into the hotel. There is construction of new building on the other side of the street. The receptionist told us that the do not work on Sundays, but they started at 7.00 am ant that was end of the night for all. If possible, try to avoid. Worst hotel in my life.

Try to avoid

We stayed at this hotel as part of a 3 day Mekong Delta to Phnom Penh tour with An Travel. The hotel is very basic but fairly clean. Only stayed one night so didn't spend much time here. Don't have any complaints about the facilities being a budget hotel. The staff were OK. Breakfast was reasonable.

I have given this hotel such a low rating because of the company the keep. An Travel uses this hotel and I don't know if they own it or not, but even if they don't, the fact that this hotel associates with them is enough for me to give such a low rating. We were lied to and cheated on this tour, the whole tour group was. I would never stay at this hotel again or have anything to do with this An Travel. I have published a separate review for An Travel on Tripadvisor with details of what happened to us.

I think you can do better than this hotel.

Basic hotel, keeps bad company

Part of a package Mekong Delta tour. Like the other reviews, probably wouldn't have stayed here by choice. There was mould on the ceiling, cobwebs and multiple mosquitoes (and geckos too...but they eat the mosquitoes so I don't mind them so much). However, we had a broken AC unit when we first arrived and it was hotter than the sun in our room! Thankfully, the staff were very nice and when notified, moved us immediately with many apologies. Breakfast was included and basic but tasty. 

Quite rundown but friendly staff 

This place is tired and old.  It's dirty and fan in our room didn't work so it was hot and stuffy and stinky!  The stairway is so narrow and tiny it's near impossible to get a suitcase up or down.  The breakfast area was filthy. The bed and pillows were hard as cement and we barely slept a wink.  It was awful!! The only good thing about this hotel is the location within walking distance to a market  and the waterfront and bridge.  We stayed here as part of a group tour but we will never be back.  Spend more and pick a different hotel!! 

Stay away

We stayed here for our first night in Vietnam it was a low budget hotel which was fine.  We looked past the fact the rooms were not cleaned properly.  One of our rooms had to be changed due to the air con not working.  The next morning at check out we were charged double because the room had to be changed, the woman in Charge was a disgrace to the Vietnam tourist industry because she completely over charged us.  We just paid it to get out of there.  I would not recommend anyone to give this woman any bookings she was so horrible to us.

Terrible mold smell, dirty sheets, hotel hasn't seen renovation since 1950 probably.

Definitely worth paying extra for a better room, as you can't sleep there.

I asked to change the sheets and only after 3rd time we got a clean one.

Just terrible.
