Satisfy Hotel

With a name like Satisfy Hotel, I had doubts.  It turned out to be a modern hotel with a colonial flair.  Our room had a glass shower.  We had dinner and breakfast there and the food  was great.  The staff went out of their way to satisfy us.  Especially the bellboy turned waiter for dinner.  The pool was refreshing after a hot day.  The street was still under construction when we were there but the hotel remained accessible.  

We only stayed here for one night and had dinner here. Lots of vegetarian options and even vegan sushi! Simple but clean rooms. Friendly staff. Cool swimming pool. Not a great location, no ATMs nearby.

In contrast to the previous two reviews, we did get a good nights sleep at this hotel, the pool looked inviting and the restaurant was open, although we were the only table. Reception staff were warm, professional and really friendly. They were able to provide me with a power adapter to charge our phones.

It's a nice building, built to the French colonial style, with the restaurant house across the pool in an out-house. We  stayed on the first floor with a view overlooking the pool. There is no elevator, but concierge took care of our luggage, so that was no drama.

There is not much around the hotel so I guess that's why they offer free bicycles... an innovative idea to overcome the location problem. Like most who stay here, we were on tour and too tired to go out anyway. The restaurant was passable but not brilliant. Prices were perhaps a little  more than we might have paid down town.

The room itself had everything going.. plazma TV, wardrobe, fridge, bedside tables, a good double shower with plenty of hot water, bathroom product. 

Breakfast was included but didn't really impress us. 

I think that for the price (US$20-30) it's pretty good value. I'm giving this hotel 4 stars.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really liked the pool and the room. Also the service from the staff was very good. They organised a very nice diy tour for us. Yes, its a bit further from the centre of town, but the hotel has brand new mountain bikes (with light!) that can you can use for free. By bike it's about 10 min to the towncentre. The pool was very clean and refreshing after a day out. The "radio" that some people wrote, is the local "news bulletin" that you wil hear in lots of smaller towns ( mostly propaganda from the government I suppose). It's everyday at 5 am and again in the evening. So the hotel really doesn't have anything to do with that.

Charming hotel with motivated employees

Good hotel

We stayed in this hotel as a family prior to embarking on the boat trip to Cambodia. The hotel was clean and the rooms were great, however , as it is one of the few hotels at the boarding point in Chau Doc we were somewhat obliged to pay the relatively hefty prices. The pool was really great. We were the only guests staying at the time and so we had the place to ourselves. Overall , absolutely fine, just overpriced for what it is.
