Chambres D'hotes Mekong-Logis

We stayed here two nights. The house is really nice. The room has everything it needs! It’s a really nice family who makes their guests feel at home. The best thing about this place is the Mekong tour they offer! Linh, the daughter of the owners, speaks English very well and made the day unforgettable! We went to the Mekong river just a little outside the city. We cruised a little and went to a small floating market. Afterwards we had breakfast at a local small shop. Really good! Then we went to a local market. Long explained all the different kind of fruit and vegetables to us, bought some for us tonten later on the boat. We had a fantastic iced sugar cane lemon drink there. It was so interesting and no tourist around. Back on the boat we went to more rural areas. We saw many houses of farmers and even got off the boat to wander around and see how local farmers live in the countryside. We stopped at one house and Linh asked the owners if we can have a look into their house to get an idea of their way of living. It was so interesting!!! In the way back we tried soooo many different delicious local fruit! I have no words! It was the most amazing thing we did during our stay in Vietnam and I would highly recommend it to everyone!
