Ami Apartment

I'm a german student with vietnamese roots, so I was looking for a mid-term apartment for 3 month in order to stay longer in Vietnam for the first time. I found Ami Apartment by chance. Looking back, I can only say that it was definitely a lucky strike! Apartment: The apartment complex is hold by a cute old couple. Even though they do not speak that much English, they are definitely the most hospitable people I have ever met. And Google Translator always helped ;) They helped me with renting a motor bike and getting a lot of stuf as well! The complex is actually not that big, which is quite nice, because I don't like when it's too crowded. There are around 5 apartments, which are all very spacious and the best thing: fully equipped! As I have not seen any pictures previously, I was surprised by the fully furnished kitchen, incl. washing machine, fridge, toaster, cooker, silver ware etc. I stayed in the Sidney Apartment, which I absolutely loved! I was very surprised by how modern the apartment and the apartment complex were. The rooms are actually newly furnished and there is also a cleaning service included, which is once a week. It's definitely a plus how clean my apartment has been for the whole time!! There is also a lift and a garage for your motorbike in the apartment complex, which is very useful if you stay longer in Da Nang. Location: It's definitely one of the best locations! It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and there are so many restaurants and cafes close by, because it's a very touristic area. Still, at night it's very calm and you can sleep well! Note: The only unfortunate thing is that in Da Nang, great commercial hotels are popping up like crazy. Currently one is build, which will block the view to the beach from my balcony. But it was not such a big problem, because it only took me a 5 minute walk to get to the beach and I prefer sun-bathing on the beach over the balcony anyways. It is definitely one more reason, why I would always choose Ami Apartment while in Da Nang. I would rather support a Vietnamese couple, which provide well priced and spacious apartments at a suprisingly western standard, than overproportional luxury hotels. So overall, Ami Apartment was definitely the right choice for me!
