This was the best Hotel/Pub I've stayed at. The staff were welcoming, the whole place was very clean and vibrant. The food was great. I would happily stay again or recommend.

What a gorgeous, Art Deco bargain. The hotel is being renovated, so only the bar was open - but that didn't detract from the accommodation. We stayed in a beautiful Deluxe King room with comfortable King Bed, tastefully decorated with lots of timber and retro tiled green ensuite with good water pressure; plenty of on site parking (under lights). Our room was positioned away from the construction, which didn't disturb us; kudos to the cleaning staff - it was spotless. The Manly Hotel is ideally positioned. We recommend staying while the renovations are being conducted, as the rate is excellent. We can't wait to return as the service is first rate, and the hotel has character - and will be even more beautiful when the renovations are complete.

I loved the Manly hotel, beautiful room with balcony and views to the water.  Old charming hotel with lots of character.

Staying at this Magnificent Old Age Hotel has so much character.  The Rooms are more than Comfortable and Completely met or needs through a recovery stage.  The Public Bar has such a great feel to it and the Restaurant has meals to die for.  I will miss my Mash Potatoe and Double serving of gravy.  The Bar Staff kept the drinks coming and the Restaurant Staff kept the Mash Potatoe coming, even before I requested it.
Kayla is a Beautiful, Caring Soul that went out of her way to be there to keep on top of all the staff, making our Experience Personal and Enjoyable.
But there is One Young Lady " Emma" who stole my little heart with her Sweet, happy disposition and willingness to help all and put smile on all customers faces.
Thank you, Manly Hotel, you will see us again I promise.

Art Deco beauty, spotlessly clean at a bargain price

The property is undergoing extensive renovations which didn't impact me as I was out all day every day of my stay and the work didn't start until 07:00am. But the only bar operating is in the gaming room and there is no restaurant. In saying that there are several bars and dining options within easy walking distance. The room rate was also discounted to reflect that not all the hotel facilities are available. It isn't a flash hotel but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and I felt safe in the area. There is an IGA and bakery and bottle shop directly opposite which was convenient. I would stay there again.

Manly is a Diamond in the Rough

The best thing about staying here at 'The Manly Hote' is the staff are all amazing and teamwork is exceptional. Nothing is a bother to any of them and always up for a great chat. Rooms may need a little updating but very clean and great bedding. I think being renovated soon also. Big TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Fridge. Location is great and close to the Marina with cafes and restaurants. Markets on the weekend. Lovely place to stay and wander around. Sails Restaurant in the hotel has a great selection on the menu. Everything we tried was perfection. I know it sounds a great rap, but if you want location, great food and all at an affordable cost I am sure you will enjoy. Always Come Back

Very close to the bottle shop underneath lol…had barramundi and garlic bread at the restaurant below and was pleasantly surprised…huge portionsHad paid for a double or Queen room but ended up in a twin…pretty sure they would have rectified the issue but I wasn’t prepared to pack all my work stuff up and move…6/10 not to bad

I went for the Bistro as it was not busy being a Tuesday. My group of 4 business friends wanted a quiet place that provided a range of meals. A must was the ease of getting car parking nearby.
The location was easy to find as was car parking. Service was smart and helpful. The lunch menu was varied to meet most diets. Meal portions were adequate and tasty and just what was described on the menu. Drink menu was as you would expect in a hotel with a good range of soft drinks and beers along with ample wines to choose from.

Lunch meeting at Manly Brisbane

Pleasant dining room not too crowded on the day we visited.  Menu was extensive . Order at the register and collect own drinks but meals are delivered to table.  Water arrived promptly . There was a bit of a wait for meals but not too excessive.  Three chose the Seniors two course menu which was excellent value.
 All the food was hot plenty on the plate and nicely presented. The steak meal was cooked exactly as ordered.

Casual Bistro lunch

Manly Hotel is situated in Manly Close to the harbour and is lovely. It is a classic pub with accommodation. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything provided as you would expect of a modern motel. Really very nice stay. Only negative would be no lifts, but it is only 2 small flights up.  Price was very reasonable. 

A little bit of the past

As I was a attending a training course at the Yacht Club, The Manly Hotel proved to be a good budget choice as it was in the centre of town, close to both the Yacht Club, bayshore, and a variety of eateries. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the usual amenities and even a small balcony with view towards the bay, and two dining options downstairs (pub and restaurant). The music from Saturday night's entertainment in the pub downstairs was noticeable, but not overly intrusive. A good place to stay in Manly. The Sunday Manly Bayside Market was also an enjoyable way to spend time whilst there.

A good option for a stay in Manly close to the Water!

Had lunch yesterday in Sails bistro the young girl who served us was wonderful.She was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our lunch and drinks.Also Bill who has served us before came in and said hello and made us feel like family as usual.Great local pub never tire of coming here.Thanks guys
