271 reviewsThere are some negative reviews here but my experience was positive. The front desk staff were very friendly. Mariella and Maria both spoke English and were both so nice and accommodating. Paula spoke Spanish only but was also super nice and gave us tips about La Barra. Mariella helped us organize a rental car and called our next hotel destination to clarify a few questions we had. She is a very warm hearted person that I rarely experience in the service industry. Hotel bed big and comfy. Rooms very clean and good views from 6th floor. Few negatives: Loud construction behind the pool area and the new high rise next door. Did not bother us at all in our room though. Bathroom is very small, if you are a large person, you might have issues. We would return to sol y luna.
