Booked room on booking.com, called hotel 1wk before to confirm; friendly Woman assisted me as the website was down. My family and I arrived and were assisted by Ms. Bonita who was extremely friendly and accommodated us greatly! We were in need of a larger room and she personally took the time to note our request. Even though she was gone when we returned from our first day of sight seeing, our accommodations were already in place. We were able to leave for the day without any worries. Our room was very clean and as comfortable as it could be staying in NY. :-) Breakfast was appreciated! The location was perfect for our purpose being there; subway options on the same street was an unexpected plus! Lots of great restaurants close by; Fette Sau BBQ and Kellogg Diner both had really good food! This was an all-around great trip; staying at the Metropolitan definitely added to that!
