I don't really leave reviews for places (worked in hospitality for too long to really want too) but after reading some fairly unfair reviews on this place- I'm going out of my way to say 5 Star all the way. I had a massive room, with great tea and coffee making facilities, it is right in the centre so location is brilliant- toiletries in bathroom excellent. Bed was very comfy and it was a clean room. I met two members of staff, the first I think was the "landlord" he was funny and friendly. The housekeeper was also nice and professional . It's not a 5 star hotel, its not trying to be a five star hotel. It is a decent pub with a great looking menu, tonnes of character and comfy room for the night . I will go back. Nice one Globe & Crown- thank you for having me.
