The access to the property was very simple to follow and the breakfast was lovely! We could have done with extra fab as it was very hot in the room and the one working fan didn’t do a lot. We had a lovely stay though, thank you

Kayla and Molly were lovely and friendly, well informed about not just the guesthouse but also the local area. The room, though compact, provided everything I needed and was well equipped. A perfect fit for my requirements.

Stayed overnight, following a wedding. The room was clean and welcoming after a busy day. The breakfast was excellent.

I wasn't aware checkin was via a code until getting there, which was a bid fiddly. Texting breakfast time didn't seem relevant. The bedroom was cramped with no window. Otherwise, really great, with top location, well done out room and excellent breakfast and cafe space (love the green train theme).

Excellent customer service and accommodation, even though I messed up the initial booking.
Room was spacious and very clean.
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast room / coffee shop was excellent with a superb breakfast.
Located two minutes walk from the centre of town and also one minute from the steam railway station. I enjoyed watching the steam trains from the bedroom window.

Very helpful service for extra toilet rolls and very quick communication too.  The breakfasts were excellent and staff very polite

Lovely place, easy to find and parking was easy with just a short walk - the room was lovely, as were the staff and breakfast! Unfortunately I had a bit of a rough night as although I was placed into room 8 which was advised as one of the quieter rooms (I couldn’t hear the road or trains or anything in this room) a neighbour/other guest upstairs was making lots of noise into the night which I appreciate the hosts cannot necessarily help

Another fantastic stay at the Severn Valley Guest House, two night stay for the Severn Valley Railway Steam Gala, early check-in was great and appreciated so I could drop my bags and head-out for the rest of the day. I had room 1a last year and had it again this year, lovely cosy room for 1 person, spotlessly clean throughout and a great well cooked breakfast each morning. Stacey is great to deal with and has booked my room for next year already. Will look forward to next year's stay 🙂

Great welcome, comfortable bed but poor facilities in room. Heating unable to control and noisy. Poor sleep due to road noise and inconsiderate guests next door. Disappointed with breakfast quality.

Communication from the venue was via text,  which was helpful for reference on our travel anx to gain access to the building. Once inside the entrance to our room was a little cramped and blocked by a folding bed, but we made it work.The room was clean and we all had a good nights sleep. We had plenty of evening meal choices a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent and my daughter really enjoyed the pancakes.We enjoyed and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Superb place to stay, very accommodating and flexible with us.

Another Great Stay

A beautiful small and friendly guesthouse just a few minutes from town centre and river. Stayed in great room with super king bed and en-suite. Lovely breakfast cooked to order for both mornings. Close to Severn valley railway station. Had lovely meals at the mug house and the chip shop merchants. Great pub across the road the great western and enjoyed the bewdley brewery tap house. Great place for a Relaxing short break. Thankyou Stacy and team we will be back

Little gem of a guest house

Apart from the noise of the traffic in and around the guest house it was a great place to stay unfortunately the nearest parking was either on some estate 2-5mins up the road and in bad conditions not ideal or parking at the Severn Valley Railway which Station it’s self(£4 charge for 24 hour parking) however gates are locked at 7:30pm. Otherwise a nice place friendly staff

Came here because we visited west midlands safari park ,this accommodation is only 5 minutes drive from west midlands safari park ,car parking is in street 2 mins walk away-Maypole Close Brilliant staff ,who were very friendly and welcoming .Jaycee was amazing ,she was happy to help with anything .Breakfast was delicious and my son was given a slice of cake with a candle and the girls sang happy birthday to him .Room cleanliness and standard  was overall very good .The only issues were minor things like the bathroom lock didn't work and there was dust on top of the kettle...but that really didn't affect our stay .If ever we return to the area we will stay here again .Thank you so much .

Stayed one Saturday night in room number 7, booked as 2 person room but felt more like 1 person (small bed, one mug). Received text/call on day to let self in, which was fine. Room was cold on arrival but warmed up quickly enough with heater. Managed to street park around corner without any difficulty. Quiet and good breakfast in the morning. Homely feel.

Homely stay

Lovely guest house,  we had room 7 downstairs just off cafe/restaurant,  quiet and comfortable, small room, more than enough for a night or more.  Slept well, bed and pillows comfy and soft, very clean.  Parked on the railway station £4 for 24hr, excellent, just a short walk across alleyway.  Lovely choice of cakes and other foods in cafe,  breakfast was fabulous, full English inc in price.  Overall great time and staff were so pleasant and helpful

What a lovely experience! The service was outstanding - lovely friendly staff and breakfast in the morning was delightful. The kids loved the pancakes and the extras!! Gluten free and other options were offered for my sensitive food issues without a problem at all - refreshing!! Perfect cosy place to stay and nice to find somewhere that easily accommodates a family of 5. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent, will definitely return if we are in the area again 😀
