Wigley Orchard

Met promptly by the owner who took me up to the Maple lodge (3). Absolutely immaculate. No dishwasher but not a problem. Wifi was a bit troublesome at times but again not really a problem. My one little bugbear was that there were no instructions of how to operate the central heating - I figured it out eventually!! I'm a solo traveller and felt very safe & secure. Felt very relaxed and loved the peace & quiet! Views amazing! Loved the quiet country roadsi, a joy to drive on! Very easy to find the site even though it's in the middle of nowhere 🤣. Lodge very comfortable, a home from home. Shower fab. Lovely supply of hot water and the heating warmed the lodge up so quickly. I travelled around to some lovely local towns/city & had an amazing week. I'll be back! Thankyou!

An idyllic holiday park, clean, tidy and immaculate caravans which are well stocked with the basics of a kitchen. Excellent communication from the owner of the park. There is nothing on the park in means of entertainment however if you want peace and quiet with spectacular views this is the place to go. Lovely walks in the area, beautiful towns. You do need a car to get around and the nearest shop is 10/15 minutes away. Be aware of the miles and miles of country roads.

We had a very hectic two weeks before our week at Wigley Orchard. What we wanted was a lovely chilled and relaxing week. Well what can i say. We certainly had that. What a beautiful place. We stayed in a Maple right at the top. The views are amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Just what we wanted .The Maple was spotlessly clean had everything we needed in the kitchen regarding utensils etc. You need to bring things like towels, teatowels , washing up liquid but we do that anyway. The bed was comfy. I cant recommend this place enough. Loved it that much we back again in September.

We stayed here in July for the first time What a fabulous place! Peaceful and in an idyllic setting. We were fortunate enough to have one of the very high up caravans at the top of the park, with the amazing views. We arrived a few minutes early, no problem with that at all. We were met with a very friendly welcome from Hannah who took us straight to our digs following her quad bike.  The birds and the wildlife here are fantastic. If you are looking for a campsite that has children endlessly running up and down hour after hour in the next caravan don't come here because this is peaceful and heavenly with none of that nonsense. You can park right by the caravan. It was so quiet most of the time you didn't even know you had neighbours in the caravans either side. The caravan was lovely and clean, well equipped and everything worked perfectly with a really good tv picture. There are beautiful walks around and the caravan park is well placed to visit all the beautiful towns nearby. The church is absolutely beautiful and free to enter. The site is very tucked away. Probably best accessed by going into Bromyard first then either  take a right turn at the old blacksmith's cottage which is approximately half a mile before the village hall or a left hand turn if the village hall is on your right. The free wifi is great and the mobile signal is very good too, which is often a problem on sites.  We would have no hesitation at all about staying here again or recommending it to others. Well done Wigley Orchard. I absolutely couldn't fault it!!

Just another lovely stay! Very quiet, peaceful site with wonderful views over to the Malverns.  Great walks. Good quality, fully equipped and clean accommodation.  Very reasonable pricing.  We'll definitely go again next year.  Can't recommend highly enough.  You do need a car.

This park is right up your street if you love the quiet, big night skies, countryside and lots of driving down winding country lanes. Tenbury Wells is about 15 minutes by car and Bromyard about the same the other way, although Bromyard seemed a bit 'League of Gentlemen-esque' and Tenbury felt a bit more friendlier. Tesco at Tenbury is your best option for shopping. 

The caravan (OAK) we stayed in was immaculate and the owners have standards here which i appreciated. The unit was modern, functional, in superb condition and although small which we expected, it was extremely good value for money and we had a view of the trees opposite where literally hundreds upon hundreds of crows make their nests. 

We wouldn't visit again purely due to now having visited everything in this neck of the woods that we wanted to and also the driving around the area does get a bit tedious even after a week, but this is purely that and nothing against the park or the owners. 

The only small negative to our break was when we popped across the road one evening for a quick look around and wandered down a path (signed footpath) just exploring really and a really obtuse, obnoxious and unfriendly bloke dressed in country gear with two dogs approached and accused us of being on his land and ordered us to tell us what we were doing! 

I was on the path and wasn't aware it was private property and the manner in which he spoke to us was rude and unacceptable, even allowing for the fact we told him we were staying in the holiday park opposite and didn't know. (No private property sign on the entrance to the path either). So you've got some dogs, live in the country and have some land? Bully for you mate. Learn some manners and respect for others. Tally ho chaps! 

A minor blip on the holiday but other than that, a beautiful, quiet place in the country to stay. 

We love staying here at wigley Orchard. The family that owns the farmland are lovely. 
Beautiful scenery, very quiet and relaxed site. 
Mainly for couples, as there are not any park areas for children. 
A car is needed, lovely local pubs up the lanes. 
The beauty of this site is that there is nothing on the site. Apart from natural beauty and alot of crows in the trees.

This our 7th time staying at this fantastic park. We were lucky enough to get one of the new vans this year with amazing views. Absolutely spotless as always. John and Hannah our hosts most welcoming. We really enjoy the peace and quiet in this stunning location not a streetlight in sight just perfect if you need peace and tranquility. Already booked our return visit.!!!

Just ending our 4 day break at this park staying in the acorn pod. Fantastic setting. Very quiet park. As you know when you book there is nothing on site. Tenbury Wells is about 20 mins away down some narrow roads. Unfortunately but, nothing to do with the holiday park, road closures seemed to pop up all over the place which sent sat navs into a spin. So many road closures in August was a bit of a nuisance to get around the area. There is a swimming pool in Tenbury Wells which was very good. Acorn pod is very nice but, has limited storage and no where to hang coats etc after a wet day. Bed comfy. Has all the kitchen equipment needed for a break. Decking area lovely to sit and watch the sunset. On arrival staff met us and lady took us to the pod and gave us guidance on the facility. All pretty self explanatory. We didn't need anything from them during the hols but saw them out and about at the site gardening etc. Would definitely stay here again. Not really suitable for children as there is nothing on site. WiFi service was very good.

What a wonderful place to go for a holiday. The setting is the finest English countryside. The welcome was great and the caravan absolutely superb. (I had a Maple.) If quiet and relaxing is what you're after, with plenty of places to go if you're in the mood, you won't find better!!!!

An honest review

A first, but hopefully not last visit.

A comfortable caravan in a beautiful location.

A lady approached us as we arrived and showed us to our accomodation,and said if we needed anything to contact her.

First impressions, a fairly NEW caravan with plenty of room and all the mod cons you would need for a good stay.

Bedrooms were comfortable (our friends being regular caravanners), a small but adequate showroom/toilet, a large Livingroom with TV,large sofa,2 chairs, fire etc.

A well equipped kitchen with cooker/microwave, kettle etc.

The property was surrounded by a decking area with a table and 4 chairs.

Set in beautiful woodland area ,plenty of wildlife,birds,pheasnts with some lovely walking routes and virtually no traffic.

We all had a comfortable stay.

A lovely stay, such good value for money.
The caravan was lovely & clean, & we appreciated receiving a text to say the caravan was ready for us.
The only reason I haven't given it 5 Stars is because the caravan did smell alot of cigarette smoke when we arrived.
Ludlow is definetly worth a visit, also visited Eastnor Castle which was slightly disappointing, but the grounds were lovely.
