Gilberts End Farm - B&B and Reiki Retreat

We went to the Sunshine festival in Upton Upon Severn and we were really lucky to book here late on.
Chrissy was a wonderful, friendly, helpful host.
En suite raom was spacious and comfortable as was the bed.
A 35 minute walk to Upton, if you are walking back at night bring good torches as the last 15 minutes are down a dark country lane.

Lived up to the description, in every way, and the proprietor was an exceptional host.
If you are seeking a quiet location, the rustic charms of an old farmhouse and discreet but friendly hospitality, then Gilberts End Farm is a perfect choice.

Beautiful character home surrounded by lovely grounds, so peaceful but also a great location to access many amenities!  Comfy, clean room and great size. Perfect stay. A big thank you Chrissy and Raffles

I struggled to find a base to repair and upgrade the telecommunications networks for the mobile and fixed operators in the UK in the Worcester area. 

I had several Hotels cancel my accommodation  but Chrissie's B&B came to my rescue offering a service for key workers with minimum safe social distances, with the ability to be self contain and still offer and bed and breakfast service.

Chrissie was very helpful and understood it would be difficult getting an evening meal  and allowed me to bring a microwave to enable me to eat evening meals during my stay.

It's cosy and spacious, and feels homely. Chrissie is a thoughtful host, friendly and easy-going. I very much enjoyed the continental breakfast, with fresh coffee, fresh fruit and quality products on the whole. The bed is comfortable and the house quiet. Highly recommended for those who seek a peaceful place to stay during this difficult time.

The room has great WIFI and plenty of room to walk about with a spacious bathroom with a bath you can actually lie down full length in.

Commute to Worcester town centre is only 15 minutes during this quite time.

Highly recommended for Key workers.

I found this B&B on booking.com. The property communicated prior to my arrival, and greeted me warmly. Chrissie advised me of local places to eat, but the best was the breakfast! Fantastic! I thoroughly recommend the property. I'll be back soon! 

I found Gilbert’s End Farm quite magically as I needed a room for the night en route to my Reiki Masters training in Wales; I could not believe it when I discovered that Chrissy is a Reiki Master too! I was delighted by the cosy and comfortable accommodation and Chrissy could not have been more considerate or accommodating. The area is so beautiful and peaceful, I would not hesitate to recommend the B&B to anyone, especially holistic practitioners seeking rest and retreat. Thank you Chrissy 💗

I stay in Malverm on a regular basis for work, and Chrissie's B&B is my favourite so far.  It's cosy and spacious, and feels homely.  Chrissie is a thoughtful host, friendly and easy-going. Stayed for 3 nights on a walking trip to the Malvern Hills.  Very spacious accommodation suite with everything you could possibly want provided.  Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, full size bath with lovely hot water, fresh fruit, truly 5 star accomodation.  A well stocked fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle made my choice of continental breakfast easy on one morning but Chrissy served a delicious hot breakfast at a table in the suite on the other days. A quiet, countryside location but in walking distance of the village and easy reach of towns and the hills.  Very highly recommended

Gilbert's End is a half way house between a B&B and self catering. There is a kettle, fridge and toaster and an ample supply of basics in a starter pack. A cooked breakfast chosen from a comprehensive menu is delivered to your room at your chosen time. The location is picture perfect with view of the Malverns and the accommodation is full of character and very comfortable with its own private entrance. Chrissy is a very accommodating and welcoming host. Gilbert's End is a delightful place to stay in a beautiful and interesting area. We'll recommended for business or pleasure.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in October and had a super stay. It's unusual to have a spacious apartment style B and B with a lovely full English Farmhouse delivered to your own dining table at precisely the time you asked for it!!
My partner and I enjoyed two good nights of sleep in super comfortable, king-sized bed. Traditional farmhouse style décor and furniture but with a huge bathroom that includes a bath with shower attachment, bathroom sink, mirror and light (but the bulb had gone)  plus a wardrobe and a fridge-freezer. (Stocked with fruit juice, milk, cheese and butter, etc.)All very useful.
Absolutely loved it but it is off the beaten track somewhat!!

A quirky,quaint and quiet bed and breakfast close to the Malvern Hills

Chrissy the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room we had was very comfortable with brilliant views. She served our breakfast in our room - excellent. The house itself is very quaint with lots of wood beams. Chrissy oiffered us both a short Reigi treatment and today, the next morning we both feel a lot better and more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful location.

A friend and I stayed here recently for a walking weekend. Chrissy was very welcoming felt at home straight away. Had a lovely breakfast set up in our room. Beautiful location with views of the Malvern Hills. Ideal place for walkers and cyclists. We had some Reiki treatments which was so relaxing and would highly recommend it. Plenty of nice pubs and restaurants close by but not within walking distance. A most enjoyable weekend would definitely go back.   .
