We have just spent two nights at The Westwood’s, visiting Dyrham Park en route on Friday and spending the day in Bath on Saturday.
Clive and Julie were wonderful hosts. Julie is an amazing baker providing fresh homemade bread at breakfast together with delicious banana bread and muffins.
Clive was extremely helpful with his instructions on how to get to places providing us with clear drawn maps.
Our room was clean, warm and comfortable.
We ate in The New Inn on the first night as recommended by our hosts and were not let down.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for two nights, the hosts were incredibly nice and attentive. The breakfast was arranged at the time we asked for, with freshly baked bread and muffins and strong coffee. Bradford-on-Avon is also a lovely town to visit. 100% recommendation.

We stayed with Julie and Clive for one night and had a great time. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a lovely 10 minute country walk through the forest and over a viaduct down to the train station were upon a 15 minute scenic riverside journey get you straight into Bath. Our hosts provided a map and torch for the journey back and even walked part of the way with us to ensure we headed off in the right direction. After a great evening out in Bath we headed back to Avon Cliff station and took our moonlight walk back to the house. In the morning we were treated to an amazing cooked breakfast complemented with homemade banana bread and fresh fruit before we set off for a walk along the canal taking in the sights. A great city break with all the peace and serenity of the countryside and a perfect base camp from which to explore Bath and surrounding countryside.

We were instantly welcomed by lovely Julie & Clive who honestly could not have accommodated us more. We booked the beautiful family room which had the biggest & most luxurious bed- best night sleep in a while! En suite was also lovely & the room had more than enough storage for all your belongings. Brilliant to have off road parking available. Definitely recommend the New Inn pub/restaurant, delicious food, huge portions & very reasonably priced. Julie & Clive went out their way to recommend places to visit, specific car parks just out of the busy city centre plus also personally walked us to the nearby cut through to Avoncliff train station to make sure we got there correctly & in time. Breakfast was exceptional. Fresh fruits, home baked bread (still lovely & warm), delicious homemade cupcakes & a scrummy fresh and filling cooked breakfast, couldn't help but over indulge every morning it was that deicious. My birthday cupcake at breakfast was such a personal touch & a lovely start to my day! Thank you for such a great stay, we cannot recommend you more & most definitely will be returning! 

This place is a little gem, Clive & Julie were wonderful hosts and couldn't be more accommodating but not intrusive. My partner is not a fan of B&B's generally, he prefers hotels but loved his stay here as did I & our young son. With the private entrance, here you get the best of both. Everything you could need is available including fresh milk and the breakfast is simply the best, fresh ingredients and fresh baked bread. Our son told us when he gets older he will be buying the house :) being sent off on days out with fresh banana bread and muffins courtesy of Julie helped. It most certainly exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending a family wedding - and we didn’t want to leave! Julie and Clive could not have been nicer! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - and we parted feeling that we had made new friends. The breakfasts were outstanding, and there is home made fresh bread and cake every morning. I cannot wait to have a reason to return and would absolutely recommend The Westwoods as the number one choice for anyone staying in the area.
