Cheddar Woods Resort and Spa

We booked this as a family of 14 to be away for the New Year, not knowing what to expect. We were in 3 different log cabins, the cabins were amazing, fitted with brand new cooker, hob, kettle, toaster and everything else and they were spotless. There was a TV in the lounge and another one in the bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. To our surprise, there was a shower and a bath in a really nice bathroom. The decor was modern and the view from our cabin was spectacular. We had a hot tub, however, because of the weather we were unable to use it. There was also a terrace to sit out on and a garden with a barbecue. We walked down to the bistro one day and had a lovely ham and cheese omelette with fries and salad. Here again, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive and I have to say I was very impressed by the whole set up. The only down side was the weather as it rained every day, however, obviously the site has no control over this. All in all, I think this is an amazing site and would be well worth a summer visit. Thank you Cheddar Woods, this traveller was very impressed. It's a definite 10/10 from me.
