Everything about this hotel is excellent Arrived a few hours before check in time to have brunch in the eatery at the hotel ‘Rum Nicky’. We had the cheese & bacon toastie & a tomato dish with poached eggs - which we shared & it was so lovely. We were given the key to our room early, so quick change to walk into Bowness. It’s situated at the top of the high street, so easily accessible to get about. The bedrooms are very stylish with tea/coffee making facilities & a selection of tea coffee & some fab biscuits. There’s an ironing board & iron & hairdryer in wardrobe. The bathroom has plenty of lovely white towels & there’s soap & body wash available to use. The bed was so comfy. The breakfast is buffet style & everything you can imagine to choose from i.e. cereals croissants fresh fruit toast juices & all the regular full English items. Very tasty. It’s very clean & immaculate hotel a home from home stay. All staff are friendly especially the manager who interacts with guests. And if we ever want a night away in the lakes we’ll sure stay here again. Very highly recommend.
