Sarah and Dave, thank you, what a fantastic place you have.  Rick and I had a great weekend, and being able to park the car and walk up Loughrigg from your front door was perfect.  Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and wonderful hopitality.  Could not have asked for anything more and would not hesitate staying again and recommending you to others.

We have stayed at Easedale Lodge quite a few times 
now !  Sarah and Dave are the loveliest hosts, nothing is a problem. The rooms and bathrooms are SPOTLESS, my Mum wont stay anywhere else now.!! There is parking on site - which is a real bonus when you are in the centre of Ambleside. The breakfasts are delicious ( thank you Dave) and Sarah will give you advice on where to eat and what there is to see. A fabulous weekend ! The only problem is that you need to book early as Easedale Lodge is so popular.

Just returned from three nights at Easedale Lodge to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It is ideally placed for everything that’s going on it Ambleside. Sarah and Dave are the most welcoming and sociable of hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The B&B is immaculate, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are just what is needed to start the day. We hope this will be the first of many stays in the future. Thanks Sarah and Dave.

Another great stay with Sarah and Dave at Easedale Lodge in Ambleside.  Easedale Lodge is a fantastic place to stay.  The rooms are lovely, a great range of things for breakfast, and on top of all that a really warm and friendly welcome from Sarah & Dave.  Definitely recommend Easedale Lodge as a central place to stay in Ambleside where you can park your car.

Second visit to this wonderful B & B in Ambleside and we loved it just as much as our previous visit. Friendly welcome from Sarah and Dave and were shown to our dual aspect room overlooking the park. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a good stay. Good breakfast with plenty of choice cooked by Dave and adequate onsite parking for every room.  Look forward to visiting again soon.

Fantastic B&B with great hosts. We have stayed many times before and we were not disappointed with the continued high standard that Sarah and Dave provide.
From the cleanliness of the rooms to the great choice of breakfasts and free parking, the whole experience we believe could not be bettered.

What can we say?  What a fabulous friendly place to stay.  From the first minute to the last, we were treat so kindly.  Nice airy room, comfortable bed, a small but spotless en-suite shower room and a lovely breakfast.  We felt that the price point was exactly right.  Great to have a free guaranteed parking space on site too.  Worth nothing that you have to park off-site with a permit if you book one of the cosy rooms.  In an ideal position for the town in one direction and Waterhead in the other.  A great walk to Grasmere via Loughrigg Fell returning via the Coffin Road.  Ambleside is the nicest Town we have stayed at in this area.  We will definitely return!

From arrival to departure our stay here was excellent.
On arrival, at onsite parking, we were welcomed warmly by Sarah who was the perfect host.
Initial impressions were of a very high standard of quality in terms of fixtures and fittings in the public areas.
Our room (6) was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was of an exceptional standard.
In room tea/coffee was well stocked and the bed was most comfortable.
Breakfasts, which were brilliant, were served promptly.
All in all I can say that the Easedale Lodge is the best B & B I have ever stayed in.

Stayed in room 4-  bright & clean with 2 lovely large windows overlooking the park . En-suite was the smallest I have ever seen but very clean & served it’s purpose.

Excellent location in central Ambleside next to Rothay Park. On-site parking; beautiful, well-equipped rooms. Spotless throughout. Lovely breakfasts. Ver helpful and friendly hosts. We have stayed there twice and will be back. 

Ideal location for travelling throughout the Lake District. Restaurants, bars and takeaways nearby. Short walk to the central shopping area and opposite the park with mini golf and tennis courts.

Beautiful B&B in Ambleside

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Easedale Guest House in Ambleside.  We received a very warm welcome from Sarah.  Our room was lovely, with very comfortable bed.  We were provided with quality complimentary toiletries. It was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious!  We will certainly stay here again.
