Stiles Of Ambleside

Brilliant stay and would definitely visit again. My partner and I stayed for one night in the Merlot room. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with loads of amenities - great selection of drinks, coffee machine, water, wine, sky package to my partners delight including sky sports and movies. The bathroom was stocked with bubble bath, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, cotton buds etc. Centrally located in Ambleside, we were provided with a parking permit and were able to park just 5 mins walk away. Being above the cafe, there is an entrance to the rear that was accessible after the cafe closed. Everything seemed to be within walking distance with restaurants, bars and pubs close by. Breakfast was amazing and we were able to pick anything off the breakfast menu. It was also great that the breakfast times were not restrictive due to the cafe being open all day. Check in 1pm and check out 10.30am was amazing in comparison to other places we had looked at with much later check in times. We also had lunch on the day of arrival, the cafe was always bustling and clearly a popular spot for food. Staff are attentive and clearly want you to enjoy your stay which is refreshing to feel appreciated as a customer which we have found rare with recent visits to other places. We will most certainly be back the next time we visit the lakes and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you to Niall and the team from Laura and Declan
