Spent one comfortable, peaceful night here before getting our cruise out of Southampton. Twin room excellent, very clean with comfy beds. Such a peaceful setting with lovely views over the gardens. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend. 

What a sanctuary away from home. Delightful grounds, surroundings, host and hostess, and the room was clean, warm and snuggle-worthy. Can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was! Wish we had stayed longer!

Had the pleasure of staying at Little Mead for a night and what a treat it was.
The warmest of welcomes from host Alistair, and a great room overlooking their lovely garden. The room is very cosy and had tea and coffee making facilities. Peace and tranquility in abundance, this is a great place to come and unwind in the middle of the countryside. Next morning the breakfast was sensational, fresh fruit, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs - washed down with tea, coffee or juice. The hosts were super friendly. Wish we had stayed another night !

My daughter and I stayed just one night over the last weekend and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown all the facilities before being shown to our delightful twin bedded room. We needed to be out early on Sunday morning so pre ordered 2 'full English' for 7am on Sunday. This caused no issue for our hosts.However we were both off colour on Sunday morning and regretfully had to change our breakfast choice so I had toast and my daughter had cereal. Again this was readily accepted by our hosts although we both felt terrible as the owner had got up early and everything had been cooked, apart from the eggs, so we didn't have to waste time waiting for food to be prepared for us. So thoughtful and helpful. 
Check in and check out was a simple process and the whole stay was a pleasurable experience. Definitely worth staying there and we will be back and hopefully will manage breakfast next time!!

Found this B & B for an overnight stop en route to Southampton. Can’t rate it highly enough. A good welcome by Alistair even though we were late. Very clean and comfortable twin bedroom with en-suite. A very good nights sleep followed by a very nice breakfast cooked by Noni. An altogether wonderful existence. Will definitely use again on our next trip to Southampton.
