Collingwood Guest House

I booked this and then read the 2 reviews and I must say I was surprised, we arrive pretty late in the afternoon on New Year's Eve the staff were very nice and gave us loads of information on what's about, our room was just your normal BnB, but very clean. I've stayed in 10X worse in Blackpool, breakfast was lovely.. It's 2 minutes from the sea, so views from outside are pretty. The hotel and staff over all were fantastic, very nice people and I've no bad word to say about either. Whitley bay on the other hand has really gone down hill, it's like a ghost town but brilliant little get away if your willing to commute to new castle or there's a little village down road which is lively. which is what we did. Someone needs to invest in this little town because it's lovely.
