Florian Guest House

I stayed in the single room to use Weymouth as a base to hike sections of the South West Coast Path for a week from Lyme Regis to Poole. Weymouth is well connected with public transport and the Florian was very conveniently located on the bus route towards Lyme Regis and for busses into town, or only 15 min walk into town (the train station, busses going eastwards and to Portland, the beach). I have food intolerances which makes eating out difficult. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything I needed for the week including a normal-sized fridge to hold my week's shopping. ASDA is only 10 min walk away as well. Sue also provided me with an alternative welcome pack, catering to my dietary needs. A private / separate bathroom might not be everyone's liking. I certainly prefer it to an en-suit that is simply squashed into the corner of a room. Mine was a good size with a large shower and I was able to wash and dry my gear. The accommodation was clean and bright but still felt cosy and comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I hope to be coming back.
