Myself and my Husband stayed in Kingfisher Lodge for a few days. Its a very nice quiet place.  The lodge was lovely and very clean, i was very impressed. It was lovely and warm upon arrival and is well equiped, with everything you need. The bed was big and comfy, lovely linen. The little Welcome pack was a nice touch. The Sauna and Hot Tub were  lovely and clean. I would recommend Weybread Lakes.😊😊

Absolutely 1st class luxury retreat, everything that we wanted was there, the lodge was spotlessly clean and modern. The bathroom in particular was stunning and the underfloor heating was most welcome. We could not find any fault at all, the hot tub and sauna were perfectly maintained, we couldn’t believe how quiet and private the lodge was, thank you 🙏

Beautiful lodge. If you’re looking for remoteness and high quality accommodation then this is for you. Arrived early and were able to access accommodation, a lovely couple run the site with only a few lodges set around the lake. Lovely hot tub and sauna.  Only 5 minutes to Harleston with an array of restaurants. Peace and relaxation all week!

This is our 3 stay at Weybread lakes and we absolutely love it ! The total relaxation of being on a lake and other than seeing the other man at his fishing peg we didn’t see a soul ! The Willow is by far our favourite lodge so far . With it being length way the decking across the lodge is massive and ideal for sunbathing and meals out if weather is on your side . The bed is so comfortable and the space in the lodge is perfect . On a rainy day the sauna was a massive hit as inside the lodge and the hot tub was well situated behind a private gate and screen . We will be back to try the other 2 lodges in the future

What a beautiful place! 
Kingfisher lodge was everything we could have asked for!
Huge comfortable bed with fluffy pillows, just the place to relax for a while. 
Sauna and Hot tub are the most private we have seen, we have stayed in a few fishing lodges in the last few years. 
When the hot tub had a pump issue, it was fixed quickly and with very little disruption to our holiday - perfect service! 
We will be back and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Just to say the Chinese takeaway, delivered to our lodge, was superb!!

From start to finish, a peaceful and relaxing 3 days, 2 nights in Heron Lodge. Easy check in. Fully equipped kitchen so we were able to cook a full roast dinner. Cosy nights spent by the (gas) fire and in private hot tub/sauna. Did not want to leave! Highly recommended for a romantic short break. 

Absolutely fabulous. Willow lodge. It was perfect 👍🏼 my husband really enjoyed the fishing 🎣 we both enjoyed the hot tub. Everything you could need was there and it was a great place to relax and unwind 😊

Maple lodge is clean & tidy towels & bed linen smelt so fresh hot tub & free standing bath in the bedroom and surround sound with speaker in each room 
amazing had the best weekend & will definatly be going back didnt want to leave 

Had a lovely week staying in Heron Lodge at Weybread Lakes. The location was great, very quiet and the lodge is well furnished and extremely well equipped.

I also fished the lake and while fishing wasn't easy, I did catch a few including a decent carp of 8-10lb and some nice Rudd!

The Hot tub was lovely and the lodge was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom.

I can only think of one suggestion of improvement and that is very minor, i.e. a good non-stick frying pan would be great as the two in the kitchen were not non-stick, so frying eggs not easy.

I would definitely come back.



As someone who has stayed at quite a few lodges like these around the country, I can honestly say this is the best to date.

Everything about the accomodation was perfect, we requested details of the bed and bedding (I believe quite a few people do) as we have never slept so well. The accomodation was immaculately clean and the owners were there when needed.

The location was extremely scenic, with lots of places close by when needed, but far enough to make the resort so peaceful.

We are already planning a return visit, although feel it will be future VISITS, and become our regular haunt!
