We have just arrived home after a wonderful nights stay.Lovely large bedroom with everything you need.Spotless.Sue made a fantastic breakfast this morning,plenty of choice.We will be back if we come through Somerset again.Thank you.

We recently stayed here sue made us feel very comfortable this is a beautiful old farm house just off the beaten track in its own little oasis covid safe our room was Huge very comfortable pretty garden with an area to look at the views breakfast was lovely bob will take you for the walk up the path to show you the view he still loves a bit of a play I loved it there and will go back if we go back to Weston 

Can’t rate Locking Head Farm highly enough. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Best nights sleep for all of us in a long time. We rented 2 rooms for our family of four and it suited our needs perfectly. 
Sue provided an excellent service and scrumptious breakfast. Fresh fruit, delicious coffee and perfectly cooked breakfasts.
Sanitisers were where you’d want / need them. 
Communal fridge was an added bonus. Loved the choice of tea/coffee/hot chocolate & biscuits in each room.
Don’t let a couple of previous reviews re the age of the property and bumpy track deter you. Ultimately, if it’s straight lines and perfect tarmac you prefer, check into the Premier Inn. 
Personally I loved the quaint rustic family run farm for all its charm & hope we get to stay there again in the near future.

Tucked down an admittedly bumpy drive Locking Head Farm is a quiet haven in busy Weston-super-Mare. So close to the M5 and town yet feels like you are in the middle of the countryside.
A large bedroom with high ceilings, a sofa & a window seat. There was fresh milk for tea or coffee, presented in a thermal mug to keep it cold, I much prefer this to the milk usually presented in B&B's. There was also a lounge downstairs for guests use, an added bonus if you are staying with friends or want somewhere to sit other than your room.
The bed was very comfortable & there was plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was great with the best sausages I have had in a long time.
The decor was not perfect but the house had history & character on its side.

We booked this place because we were attending a funeral in the area. And what a find! The farmhouse has massive rooms, and ours, (Loxton) could not have been more comfortable, with excellent beds, and a sofa, which was a real bonus. Breakfast was excellent, and beautifully cooked, and Sue was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place (though if you have a low slung posh sports car you might not like the farm track much!!)

This B&B was so nice we had to return to it. The farm is actually nearby, but the B&B is an old Farm House.  The rooms are massive with an en-suite and a sitting area with sofa and coffee table not forgetting the TV. The bed was Kingsize and was amazing, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Very clean room. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and you ordered it the evening before. Full breakfast or toast, etc. Tea and Coffee facilities in room. Lovely views, great host.  They also had friendly dogs kept away from the house.

What a unique experience! We chose Locking Head Farm because we wanted to see what it would be like to stay in a B&B that was also a farm, and we were not disappointed!
We got a little lost when trying to find the farm, but the owner picked up the phone right away when we called and helped us with directions! If you are coming from Thatchers Brewery make sure you select the long way around on google maps vs the short way as that is the correct route! Once on the correct route there are lots of signs to help guide you to the farm!
The owner is really friendly and you can walk around and explore the entire farm if youd like as part of your stay!  There were 2 extremely friendly dogs, 1 of which walked around the farm with us!  The views of the local area/valley are stunning at the top of path!  So relaxing and peaceful! Along our walk we encountered chickens, horses and cats!  We are animal lovers so this just made our stay!
The farm house is very quiet and easy to get in some rest and relaxtion time!  Full English Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious!
The farm is in a great location for exploring the area! Thatchers Cider Brewery is only a 10 minute drive away, while Weston-Super-Mare and Cheddar Gorge are about a 15 minutes drive away!
Would definitely recommend staying here!

nice and quite at the farm as set down a long lane away from the hustle and bustle .
lovely poached eggs for breakfast.
staff always on hand should the need arise
was working in the ares for the week and needed to be with my laptop so made a nice change to sit down in my room with the windows open and coffee in hand doing the dreaded paperwork .
bedroom was set up with a big double so just one person so plenty of sleeping room :-)



We stayed here for our honeymoon. The " Wookey Hole " suite was perfect for us. The breakfast was amazing, plenty to choose from.
The bed was fantastic, the bathroom was awesome. The suite was very cosy.
Highly recommended.


Just had a lovely 4 day break in North Somerset , just inland from Weston Super Mare .

Stayed at Locking Head Farm , a lovely , Peaceful , traditional Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast 

Even though it is accessed off a busy main road ( only 3 or 4 minutes from the M5 ) it is totally peaceful , in a traditional working farm setting .

The owner , Sue , had made it Covid Safe , and looked after us really well .

Lovely, huge  room with good sized bathroom and a great shower .

We slept like logs in the comfy King Sized bed .

Fantastic breakfasts , too .

Fantastic Farm Stay!

You feel like you're in a Jane Austen novel - the house was built in16th Century I believe. Very comfortable but the only tall mirror was on the landing and it was difficult to use the hairdryer as the lead didn't reach the mirror above the fireplace.The directions can be misleading as there is now a main road splitting their road. The driveway is really built for 4 wheel drives but is manageable. The breakfast was delicious and nothing seems too much trouble for the owners.
