Another great stay. We stayed last year and returned again. Immaculate, clean and well presented rooms. Perfect location for walking into Whitby. Parking permit available. Breakfast excellent, all fresh good quality produce with lots to choose from. Highly recommended.

We have just had 4 nights bed and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this place. Simon who owns/runs the place, does so with enthusiasm.  Gets to know his guests and their preferences.  He has obviously listened to previous guests as detail st breakfast is impressive.  Buffet style withTop quality ingredients.  Hot and regularly replenished.  His assistants too are attentive and efficient.  Theres not much missing at breakfast and if it is something you want such as kippers Simon will source them for you.
Our room was spotless and comfortable. Great view.  
If I could offer Simon a piece of advice and it's only a small thing is that our room would have benefited from the TV being wall mounted.  The frame at the foot of the bed slightly obscures the bottom half of the TV.

I'm so glad I chose the Corner Guest House in beautiful Whitby. Perfect location close enough to walk to the beach, River and Center but removed enough to be quiet. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Everything you need with very comfortable bed. The innkeeper Simon is wonderful. He goes out of his way to make you feel at home including cooking and serving a delicious breakfast. I did a road trip from South to North UK and stayed in five different places. This was my favorite.

Booked for 2 nights for a few days away. One of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable, clean and a breakfast to die for. Would definitely book again. Parking wasn’t too bad either £10 for 2 nights I think is a bargain. 

We stayed for three nights in September and had a great time. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Simon and his wife are fantastic hosts. We were made to feel very welcome.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we were never hurried out of breakfast at the end of service.
It was great value for money and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Me and my husband have had a 2 night stay at this lovely guesthouse, the location is amazing, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was amazing, our bed was so comfortable the room had everything we needed, we will definitely be returning, thank you for a fabulous weekend x

We were lucky to get in for August Bank holiday weekend. We paid £285 for 3 nights with breakfast included. Parking is on the surrounding streets which we parked for £10 with a visitor permit.
The host was excellent and also good enough to leave you alone. 
The room was excellent and a good size. We were In room 5 on the top floor. Shower good, tv OK but kept losing signal. Because of the poor signal not alot of channels to choose from but it wasn't a problem. The bed was comfy.
The breakfast was brilliant you could have cereal, toast and then help yourself to a cooked breakfast. Plenty of tea and juice as well. The host couldn't do enough for you at breakfast. The location is perfect apart from having to go up and down a hill to get to the town centre and seafront plus its next to a busy road which might be too noisy for some. We think it's maybe the best bed and breakfast we've stayed at!!
We would definitely stay here again.


Room was clean with white sheets and thick fluffy towels. We had two nice armchairs to relax in with a cup of tea or coffee. Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. Would definitely stay at this B&B again. 

My young son and I were well looked after by friendly, helpful hosts. An excellent location that is in easy walking distance of both the beach and the town. Whitby is a super place. Despite the rain we had a great time.

The best b&b where we've stayed?

This is a lovely place to stay, clean comfy great choice of breakfast with friendly hosts, it’s up a slight hill but near to the centre of everything and a nice little walk to get there. We stayed here with my sister and her husband and both had a really nice room,  we couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be back.

Short break

This is a hotel I would recommend to anyone travelling to Whitby. We recently stayed two evenings and to be absolutely honest, our stay just could not be faulted. The hotel is in a superb location and is literally a few minutes walk from the centre. 

We arrived on a Friday morning and there was lots of parking available at a cost of £5.00 for the two days. Our King Size room on the second floor was very clean, modern and tidy and although the hotel was full we never heard anyone else in their room. 

As for their breakfast, definitely a highlight of the break, with a great and very tasty selection of local produce, which was all self service, with the hosts always attending and nothing was too much trouble.

Wouldn't think of booking anywhere else on my next trip to Whitby ....... Great Place!
