An excellent holiday with my teenage grandson! The stay was comfortable with everything provided in the room.  The fridge had milk and we even had some croissants  and juice on top of the usual tea/coffee/sugars etc.  Very private and close to all the amenities without the noise of town, plus private parking.  Donna was a perfect host if we needed anything...thanks for looking after us :) Kim and K

really comfy  well worth a visit   very clean and room made soley for comfort  parking at rear of property   quiet hotel  and tele is on sky so loads to watch of an evening ...shower is great and powerful   bed is so comfy  you keep sleeping in...very quiet hotel  not disturbed at all

This was  great find. Peaceful accomodation only a 10min walk down into town with its own off road parking which seems a bonus in Whitby. Room was clean and very comfotable. Really comfortable matress on the bed. Included a fridge in the room. Host Donna supplied complentary milk, water, orange juice and pastries. Ensuite shower room. Would thoroughly recommend a visit and will definately look up again if visiting Whitby.

Room was clean comfortable and was nicely decorated, fridge kettle tea coffee etc available as well as fresh milk and pastries,owners friendly and helpful would definitely recommend.we booked this at very  short notice and were very fortunate to have got the booking. 

Lovely place to stay  , main road noisy but we had plenty of exercise and fresh air so slept well , room had a fridge with fresh milk, water and orange juice as well as tea and coffee ,biscuits and a selection of pastries , that was a nice touch so could have a coffee and pastry before we went down into Whitby for breakfast, it’s a ten to fifteen minute walk into Whitby downhill but coming uphill from town .

Lovely villa. We booked a double and twin room, both were spotlessly clean. Parking on site and within easy walking distance of Whitby harbour. Rooms had everything you would expect plus a few little extra touches . Would definitely recommend.

Checked in on Friday stayed untill Sunday. The accommodation was spotless and the owners has covered everything you could need and more. So comfortable and a short walk to the town. This will be our go to accommodation whenever we visit Whitby.

We booked this last minute as a getaway over the bank holiday. At a very reasonable price for the short notice stay, we weren't expecting miracles.

When we turned up Donna was there to greet us. We arrived 3 hours earlier than check in and the room was already ready. Parking was available for free when we arrived there. Donna was lovely, very helpful and showed us to the room and told us how to get into the town centre. 

It was absolutely spotless and down to the last detail on the room facilities you can tell the owners are passionate about looking after the guests! 

They've thought of everything including earplugs, a fan, a little jug to fill the kettle with when you can get it under the tap, hairdryer, a mini fridge, bottle opener with wine glasses and a working telly! Shower was brill and very clean.

Comfy bed, big room size and a good nights sleep with ideal location (up a hill but only about a 10 minute walk into the town). 

Able to get in and out of the building with your own key provided on arrival.

We will definitely be stopping here again on our Whitby trips 😁

We stay 3 nights middle November, can't fault the place, the owners have thought of everything, the little touches mean a lot, is tea coffe milk orange juice in fridge, toiletries, lovely and warm as well, short walk to Whitby, uphill back but no bother unless your unfit or very old. Our third stay at this excellent B & B. As previously, we enjoyed a perfect stay. Donna and Jamie are great hosts, rooms are lovely, well-appointed, breakfasts are cooked to order and are so good. Free parking is provided which is a big plus in Whitby, and it's a fairly short walk - downhill - to town.

Lovely Cosey place

My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a great base from which to explore Whitby. The guest house is very clean and the hosts very amicable. It is now accommodation only but we had plenty of options for breakfast in the town. The guest house is on a hill and a very busy road, which was noisy but a pair of good ear plugs and it’s fine. Good value accommodation worth a try.

First class B & B

My wife and I, together with a friend, booked two rooms here and were so glad we did. Donna was very welcoming (as was her mum!) The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds and chairs to relax on. Breakfast was also excellent (brilliant poached eggs!) Excellent value; I would throughly recommend a stay. Absolutely no negatives. 

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

As far as B&B's go this one is top notch. Lovely welcome from Donna who gave us the choice of 2 rooms we opted for room 3 in the attic It was spotlessly clean and decorated really nice with a very comfy bed . Breakfast was fantastic all great ingredients all freshly cooked and served in a lovely and very clean dining room. If this place was in Channel 4 TV Four in a bed it would be all 10's and I would be staying again

Great place to stay

Stayed for 3 nights 23-26 August and we booked it after reading the good reviews on here. 

Arrived at the B&B on the Friday at 2pm, parked in the private car park at the rear and was greeted by Donna who gave us the choice of 2 rooms as we were the first to arrive. We picked Room 3 which was at the top of the house as we thought there would be less road noise and there was a Velux roof light which we kept open during our stay over the very hot bank holiday weekend. 

The room was perfect for our needs and immaculate.  The en-suite facilities were also good and the shower worked well.  The bed was really comfortable and we slept brilliantly. The gulls dawn chorus was a bit of a wake up call but that was only because we had the Velux open! 

Breakfast was piping hot and tasty and a great start to the day although my other half just had cereal as he isn’t a big breakfast eater. 

The B&B is around a 10 minute walk into town although we didn’t actually time it and the walk up the hill twice a day/night certainly gave our calf muscles a workout! 

I would certainly recommend this B&B, we had a lovely time and thank you Donna & Jamie for looking after us.
