Came to Waltham Abbey for a funeral everything was great. Staff were brilliant
Stayed for 2 nights was very happy with our choice.

The staff were all so polite, friendly & helpful.
The breakfast room is great & worth every penny with Angie (The Manager) so lovely.
Angie & Theresa were working in the breakfast room for my two night stay & are two of the loveliest people I have ever met. The breakfast room has air conditioning which was pleasant during my stay as the weather then was very warm to say the least.

A lovely two night stay

The Premier Inn at Waltham Abbey was booked purely as a bed and breakfast type accommodation as I was there to attend my daughter’s wedding. The room was great and the breakfast was adequate. In fairness it is a relatively small Premier Inn. It’s great as a base for going out and doing other things.

The security CCTV cameras ae not for the benefit of the customers or police, having said that, any stay without a vehicle being broken into and items stolen in a bonus.

As a first-time wheelchair traveler, I had my concerns. Would the hotel truly be as accessible as advertised? Could I manage everything on my own? From start to finish, my experience exceeded expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and accommodating everything was. The receptionist went above and beyond, not only answering all my questions but also personally helping me to my room. I wish I could remember her name because saying 'thank you' doesn’t feel like enough for everything she did!

We called the night before to ask if they can remove one of the single beds as we had a travel cot. We were assured that would be fine. Notes were not made on system so when we checked in, tired and late at night we were disapppointed that our request hadnt been met. The kind staff member offered to remove it but we made do as our kids were so tired. The night was HORRIFIC, all night there was banging of doors and people running/stomping the corridors - we didnt sleep a wink. Furthermore there was a smell of weed at night and in morning. It says on the website "24hr security" but i didnt see any of that. If they had cameras in the corridor they should be monitored. We complained and were told to speak to manager in morning. We did - she didnt apologise once and instead got incredibly defensive about how they have no control over their guests and  to contact guest services (she yelled this 3 times as if we were dumb). She needs customer service skills - but noticed those guests that checked out without complaint got a very nice "thanks have a great day!!!". Us on the other hand didnt get that side of her. She did give us comp breakfast - our kids ate a crossaint and yoghurt so not a huge deal. She sternly told us she cant do anything else about the compaint as she wasnt working that night so not her issue. 
Other than getting no sleep - rooms were clean albeit a bit tired looking. 
Ample parking, lovely pub next door  - but expect noise!

Nice but got no sleep!

Nicola made our stay really easy and was very accommodating. If you are going to an event near by this is the perfect premier inn to stay at. Good size room (double room) and clean. We checked in early and this was perfect for us as we were going somewhere early in the day.

Lovely staff

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Clean and spacious room. There is lots of parking available and a pub nearby. Hotel is easy to find and a good place to stay when visiting friends and family in the area. Breakfast of a good standard.
