A good value for money. The reception was great. I was offered an upgrade at reception. Room was very clean and the environment was serene.

If you're expecting high quality fancy decor with a fancy ensuite, this isn't the place for you. It's your basic bed, TV, Tea and Coffee with fridge and bathroom. The classic chips to the paint, rust on the shower curtain poles and general wear and tear of the place may give it a "vintage" feel. My mum's in hospital so all I cared about was getting a bed for the night and this was the cheapest around and met the criteria. For that, it was perfect. It's a bed. That's all I wanted and if that's what you want, this is for you.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and furnishings were very good.

A comfy hotel no problems at all, easy parking

Was cheap and i was a bit wary....not good reviews.but cheap and convenient.Wow great place room was clean large loads hot water great bed and tv.As a double bonus...best curry i have ever had and it is attached to hotel...

The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The room was spacious and even had a full sized fridge if I wanted to store my own food. There were also self catering kitchens dotted round the building. 
The bathroom looked clean and fresh. It looks like a brand new bath .
Room was spotless. I couldn't fault the service, the room facilities or the staff, so cannot understand some of the negative reviews

I stayed at the metro Inn for 10 nights and can't find anything to complain about at all. The room was very clean as is all public areas in the hotel. The house keepers do a fabulous job keeping the hotel clean and nothing is too much trouble for them. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The management are also friendly and interact with the guests. The rooms are spacious and have TV and facilities for making tea/ coffee. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean friendly place to stay and at rates that cannot be beaten.

The hotel is a former boundary hotel. What I loved was the helpful staff. It is easy to find, good area to head to Birmingham, lots of parking spaces. The rooms are clean. For the price it’s unbeatable.

The property is basic, the lifts are broken and the hotel is quite aged the bathroom sink had broken chip wood surrounding surface and the external and internal areas are old. It’s important to point out the Hotel is kept really CLEAN and the facilities are fine. The staff are friendly and helpful so for the price it represents good value if you’re not fussy. We slept well and paid the extra £10.00 for a later checkout. We were visiting family in the area not on vacation.

We stopped here whilst my partner was working on a construction project. Whilst i get that it is a bit tired in places it is really good value for the money. Staff are friendly and helpful. At least they know who is staying there as they ask for ID. We have had no issues with any of the people staying there. Joy and the rest of the housekeeping team need a nassive shout out. They take care of you ask if you need anything for your room and check if you are okay. I have seen people moan about this place but price comparison with other hotels in the area says value for money. If your bed is uncomfy they offer solutions or even change your room if needed. Its great for a quick stop but we spwnt more time there due to my partners work.

Location is good quite residential area, close .Hotel is kept clean and comfortable stay, nice indoan restaurant,  bar and food next door....Separate to hotel business, staff are ok with bringing your food back.Will stay again.

The attached restaurant was excellent, the food and service top notch

Great Food

Nice hot water for shower in the morning. Tv had plenty of viewing options and room heater good. Even had an Iron!

The staff work hard to provide clean and comfortable rooms. Good to have a fridge as well as tea and coffee making.Great to have the bar and restaurant next door serving good value drinks and meals with excellent service.Good parking.

Enjoyable stay

Great value for money, helpful & professional staff, perfect location for buses to Walsall or Birmingham, sort of vintage Travelodge, American motel atmosphere, a bit old but alright for one of two nights
