The landlords (Sue and Craig) were exceptional hosts … the property is located in an amazing location … the surrounding area is full of interesting activities … and if the weather cooperates, the dark sky star watching is truly amazing … we will definitely visit again , and would whole heartedly recommend this place … a great visit  10 out of 10 …

Beautiful location overlooking the loch and the staff were very friendly.

Everything was absolutely perfect, beautiful setting with views of the water, beds were really comfy and slept really well , it was just so peaceful.We had dinner & breakfast in the Inn next door and the food was all perfectly cooked and cooked to order, I can highly recommend the Venison burger which was so tasty, my Son had the Chilli and he said it was the best chilli he had ever eaten.Our  room was well equipped , very clean and we had views of the water which was lovely to wake up to. There was seating outside which was a bonus to sit and view the stars at night. We couldn't fault our stay and we will definitely come back next year and spend more time here. Our hosts obviously work extremely hard to make sure their guests have a relaxing stay. Thankyou so much and look forward to staying with you for longer in 2025

Great basic larger motel room for a night or more. Good breakfast, nice staff, and a fantastic view of loch right across the road.

The couple who ran the motel were friendly and warm and shared local info. The room was bright with a small modern kitchenette. Evening meal and breakfast were great especially as there was no local options. There was a nice cosy bar.

Arriving after dark (20.30)we were disappointed that there was no food available and the bar was closing. We had been sent an email but as we were travelling it wasn't read. The accommodation was pleasant, roomy, clean and comfortable. On opening the curtains in the morning we were very pleasantly surprised by views that could be confused with a dream. It is magnificent. The breakfast was good and the patrons friendly and helpful

What a wonderful place. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting, newly refurbished, excellent food. Next to a gorgeous lake in the Highlands. Simple but sweet rooms with a kitchenette and refrigerator. WiFi is unreliable except in from of the restaurant. The water pump in our room was loud. I wish we had booked it for a longer stay because the remote location was very peaceful. Great little pub too!

Stayed for two nights,a nice place to stay.Although the room is set up for self catering which has all the basic essentials we had evening meal at the pub/restaurant next door.The food and selection is not great,but the owners are nice.Had a drink in the bar,which had a good selection of draft beers and spirits.Overall we had a nice stay,but such a pity the dinner menu was very poor.If you like burgers that’s fine with tinned soup off the supermarket shelf.We would still return for another stay in the future as it’s in a lovely setting with nice owners.

Nice place and location.

We stayed in the self catering rooms. These were well equipped with fridge freezer, microwave and other relevant equipment. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.  The bed was a little small but very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. The bar closes at 9pm  breakfast also available if booked in advance the night before. The hotel.looks out onto a Loch and is very quiet and peaceful. We slept really well. Id definitely go back for a longer stay.

All was to our satisfaction as far as the accommodation goes. We also dined with the Motel and had higher hopes for some good home cooking - those weren’t quite met but the food wasn’t bad either. Just not really something special and home cooked. A bit on the pricier side also for what was offered, but I guess location, location, location…

Nice stay, modern clean rooms, dinner so so

The motel offers rooms that are self-catering, however meals are available from the Inn next door. We stayed 1 night whilst on the NC500. The motel room is spacious and warm. There is Wi-Fi but the reception is poor as is a mobile signal, so best to assume you will be off grid. The motel and Inn look out over the loch to the hills behind which form a wonderful setting.

Great space inside and out

Overall the stay was good and we would stay again. The hosts were pleasant and we had a nice chat. There is a little pub and restaurant on site which is nice as its quite far from anything else. Note, the food is tasty but also pricy. There is WiFi in the restaurant but not in the rooms, which is not a huge deal but there was no cell service in our room so had to step out to the area by the lake to get service. The room was basic but perfectly functional with a mini fridge (plug didn't work so had to pull it out and plug in to another one. No big deal), stove top, microwave, TV etc... would hwc been nice to have some more paper towel (there was 2 sheets left on the roll and no more in the room). Again, no big deal I'm sure has we asked for more we would have gotten some. Especially for the price compared to everything else in our trip, this one was a little diamond in the rough.

Nice Spot For a Stopover When Touring the Highland

The motel was just off the NC500 but a beautiful location with a view of the lake.Accommodation was well facilitated with everything you could want from a self catering accommodation. Only thing was the noice from the water tank when bathroom sink or toilet was flushed but this was not a real big issue.
