The good lady and I have recently stayed in these apartments for two nights. We were booked onto a Manchester ship canal tour and the pick up point was at the Imperial War Museum which is a stones throw from the apartments. We found the reception staff most polite and the apartment itself was  very adequate for our needs. Should we need to be in this area again we would certainly use these apartments again.

Initially concerned regarding the location being out of Manchester, but inexpensive 20 minute tram ride from the centre made this a very cheap alternative. Lovely, spacious very clean and modern apartment with two double bedrooms, one en suite. Very adequate for short stay. Courteous check in. Good sound proofing and never heard anything from outside or other tenants. Also good little Booths supermarket around the corner. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night while we watched watch the match. Check in was quick and easy. Location can be a bit tricky to find if you haven’t stayed before. They do take a £200 deposit for the room but this is pretty standard practice for apartment style hotels. We had a studio apartment which was spacious and had all the amenities we could ask for. Had a nice river view from our balcony, but the balcony was closed because of insurance purposes, no big deal though. Room was stocked with tea and coffee, even had a cafetière with ground coffee packets! Only think about the room was the shower was a bit weak for my liking but that’s only a minor niggle. Our nights sleep was marred by the headboard squeaking at every movement making it hard to stay asleep for a good amount of time. 

Overall a good stay in a good location for Old Trafford with good transport links. For £50 a night you can’t really ask for too much. Probably would stay here again if the price was as low as it was. 

We had a studio apartment for 3 nights which was very nice and had everything you could need although maybe it could do with more cutlery, plates etc as there were only 2 of each. We were also a bit disappointed that we did not receive any clean towels in those 3 days and neither did we get any of our bins emptied which were overflowing by the time we left and there was only one and a quarter toilet rolls which ran out! luckily I took my own. I realise we could have asked for these problems to be corrected but did not really feel that we should have to and also kept expecting to return the room to find that someone had seen to this already as they are advertised as serviced apartments but sadly every day when we returned to the apartment no-one had been in to see to these basic needs so we just got on with it.Also the pillows are very flat and need replaced, other than these points it was a nice place to stay!

Was not informed about deposit we had to pay so made the first night a nightmare.

it has been a whole week since i have stayed, i have chased this hotel every day for my deposit money back but not heard back from them!

ABSOLUTE JOKE

WHERE IS MY DEPOSIT MONEY???!!!!

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. Grumpy receptionist- no hello or smile just utterly miserable. Our apartment on 5th floor was tiny, furniture broken, floor laminate in kitchen/living room peeling off in various places, carpets stained, etc.. on booking I was told that we would get a discounted rate of £10 per 24hrs in the local multi-storey car park. Mentioned this to receptionist and she stamped our car park ticket. When we went to leave less than 48hrs later the ticket machine requested £47.50! No ability to reapply discount as apartment reception was closed until 10:30am on Saturdays and we needed to set off at 9:30. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Avoid...avoid...avoid

I booked an apartment online fairly last minute, as it was conveniently located for my meeting the next day.

I drove there in my car, following the post code in my satnav. I couldnt find the place as the post code just took me to mediacity (a huge complex of buildings), and the map on the email confirmation wasn't helpful either. It doesn't even exist in google maps when entered!

I rang the number given on their website and it rang out... at 7pm. Very poor service.

In the end, I ended up paying for another hotel without any refund.

Avoid IMO.

One star given for the location.  Advertised as having a car park - it is a public multi-storey car park around the corner which we struggled to get into and had to lower the suspension.  I had contacted the apartments on 3 separate occasions prior to arriving to ask about the parking but nobody had the courtesy to get back to me.  Location is perfect, other than that carpets were filthy, laminate flooring damaged, stains on walls and ceilings, woodwork scuffed, a 2 seater settee for 4 people not acceptable.  Very overpriced for the condition.

Very disappointing

We arrived at night and showed our booking which had already been paid for, i have my card to put down a deposit. 2 days later without informing me or gaining my consent they took 198.00£ from my bank account. And then Gary the manager accuses us of being in the wrong! Stay away!

Fraudsters

We booked two rooms at the Heart Apartment Manchester, for one night. After being told that the deposit would be refunded on departure. 4 days after departure I noticed that £200 have been taken off my card, when contacting the apartment, they advised that we have been charged for cracks behind the toilet tiles. I asked what they thought had caused the crakes - they responded "Floating toilets if sat on heavily beyond a level of normality, they can put pressure on the support beams causing the tiles to crack". Firstly, I am size 8. (8 and half stone) I disputed the charges and informed bookings.com who I originally made the booking with. I have then noticed all the reviews, regarding customers deposits being taken. A week after, I noticed that actually £200 had been taken for each room total £400. Now as far as I am aware the likely hood of two floating toilets have cracks... coincidence?? This apartment is a scam!! We are £400 down and they are unable to provide the reason why, two rooms have been charged with £200 each. I am currently waiting on bookings.com to contact me.
