Pete and Tracey the owners were very nice , helpful and charming couple..They had a great knowladge of the surrounding areas and restaurants to visit. Their accommodation was absolutely spotless and well looked after.

Well looked after by Tracey who is a wonderful host. Loved the homemade banana cake on arrival and granola yogurt and full English for breakfast. Will stay again without hesitation

Peter and Tracey are wonderful hosts who couldnt do enough for us, they were super friendly and helpful with great local knowledge.The guest house is spotlessly clean and the interior design is outstanding with lots of attention to detail to make the stay feel like a home from home.Thank you Peter and Tracey for a fantastic stay.

It was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at.  And our hosts, Peter and Tracy are so welcoming.  If you don't absolutely enjoy your stay, the problem is you, not the B&B.

We stayed at Sandway House for 3 nights while visiting family. Peter and Tracey were very friendly hosts. Warm welcome on arrival and it was lovely to chat to them throughout our stay. We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite on the top floor which consisted of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. It was great to have this floor to ourselves, it felt very private. The rooms have a modern, homely feel to them. Plenty of tea, coffee, water and biscuits in the rooms. Rooms were very clean. We made good use of the parking at the rear of the property. Would highly recommend!

Very warm welcome from Peter and Tracey. We booked the two bedroom suite area at the top of the house. This consisted of a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom with a shower room and toilet. There was a sink in each of the bedrooms. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated complete with tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. There was also a TV in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable, room temperature was good. Loved the hanging space for clothes and handy shelfs to put toiletry bag on. Bedrooms were at the back of the house so quiet. We were able to park our car a the rear of the property easily. It was just a short walk down the hill to the sea front and some nice places to eat and a costa. We will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel, fresh decor, lovely couple who own this.  Made to feel very welcome.  Definitely stay again.  Would recommend this hotel.  Beach and harbour are in walking distance.  Torquay is undergoing some regeneration so traffic in the town is a little slow.

Thoughtful little touches in the room for Christmas when we first visited and for Valentine’s Day for our second visit.

A really lovely bed and breakfast. We received a a great welcome on arrival. The rooms were modern, comfy and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of options, cooked fresh and delicious. 

Easy check in and parking, comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast. Would recommend🙂

Great B&B!

Very Nice B&B close to sea front

Perfect place to stay

We stayed for 4 nights with Tracey and Pete. They were very welcoming and provided any information we required on the local area.Sandway House is well located close to the seafront, and the room had eveything we needed. Tracey's breakfast was delicious, the granola and yoghurt being a particular favourite. We would highly recommend Sandway House for a stay in Torquay or Devon.

Excellent stay in a beautiful house, well located

Another great stay at Sandway House. Tracey and Peter are the perfect hosts. They are friendly, helpful and very genuine. The whole place is spotlessly clean and absolutely immaculately decorated by Peter who must obviously  be a perfectionist !
The breakfast is excellent with more than enough choice - cooked by Tracey and very well served in a perfect breakfast room.
Overall first class and highly recommended.

Had an amazing welcome  so kind and warm friendly smiles and a nice chat as we checked inn.  The hotel itself was very classy and well designed. Very well thought out and beautiful deco.  The room was very nice we had the double, the bed was so comfy! And the bathroom was nice.  The whole.room was so clean!!!!     Only.issue was being on the front of the property was loud when windows open, and next door room 6, their fire door to the room kept slamming and at 11pm or 8am its a bit much.   When we stay again - which we will!  I would ask for a room on the back of the house.

Friendly homely hotel with modern and class touch

We only spent one night at the Sandway as we where in Torquay for a show at the Theatre. Am really glad we did as the accommodation is perfectly situated for the sea front , is spotlessly clean / well presented and run by Tracey and Pete who are the most welcoming hosts you could wish for ! Tracey had made a sponge cake which she left a couple of portions in our room upon our arrival which was delicious! If you do stay here make sure you book breakfast- you will not be disappointed - it’s beautifully presented and is excellent!

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Pete and Tracey made us extremely welcome, the room was really clean and had all the little touches that made the stay special.
Breakfast was served in their beautiful breakfast room, lots of choice and well cooked. You have to try the home-made granola compote, it's amazing!
It's a little gem in an oasis of B&Bs and guest houses in Torquay and we would definitely stay again.

Pete and Tracey were fabulous host for our weekend in Torquay , so welcoming and did everything to make our stay the best. Breakfast delicious, and served with much care. We had everything we needed. Such a lovely place and such a friendly couple . Bed very comfortable definitely recommend a stay . Thank you
