Me and my partner stayed over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing really good location loads of places to see Jon and Julie gave us loads of info and advice about things to do in the area and we're extremely helpful and welcoming we will deffo recommend this to our friends as it really is a hidden gem

The room is beautiful and the house well kept and well stocked with gorgeous furnishings and books. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Our hosts have been charming and very helpful. Overall, it's been a lovely weekend visit and I will use this B&B again for future visits to Torquay.

I read the reviews on here and was amazed to find not one person didn’t like it , all 4 and 5* ratings. This B&B is great , beautifully clean and the hosts were always cheerful and extremely helpful, helping us with local attractions and restaurants etc. the room was larger than I’d expect with a large en-suite (room 3 on the first floor). The bed comfy and excellent storage space. Each morning we had an exceptional two course breakfast of cereal, coffee, OJ, toast and jam and a full English , all cooked to perfection. No burnt crusty eggs here, poached and fried both perfect , good quality bacon etc. 
I was able to park our car in their car park every time we came back from a day out so no issues there either. There are some stairs from the car park to the front door, but my tip would be to go to the front which is level to unload your suitcase then park afterwards in the car park. Will be staying here again the next t8me we visit Torquay , lovely place

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for our long weekend in Torquay.  The Exton stood out because of its excellent reviews, and it really lived up to expectations!  John and Julie gave us plenty of information on arrival and were excellent hosts.  Breakfasts were very good.  It's a comfortable walk into town, and you can take the bus to other parts of Torbay within a few minutes' walk of the Exton.  Highly recommended!

3rd part of our 4th part holiday and what a wonderful stop over this was. First time in torquay for us and Julie & John made our stay at the Exton house b&b so welcoming, comfortable and friendly advice from them made it great for us for the 6 days we were there.
We will definitely come again especially for the breakfast that made the start of the day great.
Great family room so clean and comfortable.
Anyone who's thinking of going to Torquay look this b&b up, you won't regret it.

Stayed at exton house for 4 nights, really was a nice stay nice quiet place and only 5 mins away from the town, John and Julie really make you feel welcome and can't help enough, rooms are very clean and tidy, breakfast was delicious with plenty on offer, couldn't of asked for a better stay.

John and Julie are lovely hosts. Aways welcoming, and always happy to help you. Breakfast is plentiful, lots of choice. Rooms are always clean, nicely decorated, tea & coffee in room. You can walk into torquay in about 20 minutes, along the seafront.
They have all covid regulations in place, and felt very safe,during our stay there. We are regular visitors, and would highly recommend it.

Had a lovely comfortable stay at Exton house Julie and John were fantastic hoasts.the rooms were lovely clean and comfortable.we highly recommend.Also served with a good range of breakfast and within a ten minute walk down to the sea front .

What a little jam Exton House is. I was a little concerned about what might be provided for the price but I need not have worried. In fact I would have been happy to have paid a lot more. We had a great break in a room that was more boutique, great colours and fittings.
 Breakfast each morning was really good with a selection of cereals, grapefruit and yogurt followed by a freshly cooked hot selection.
We really appreciated the friendly and relaxed yet very professional approach provided.
