this was the first time we had stayed at this appartment
on arrival there was a warm and friendly greeting from sandra
the appartment was spotless with everything you need on hand
there was a 50inch television in the lounge with netflex and both bedrooms having tvs
the appartment is ideally situated for the sea front and shops a short walk thro the abbey gardens takes you onto the front
this is a fantastic appartment and would highly recommend

fantastic appartment

Have just stayed at avenue park two bedroom apartment (The apartment) and its honestly been fantastic. Sandra always goes that extra mile and the apartment is like home from home. There's nothing gone unthought of,it is so well kept and the pictures don't do it justice as it's a touch of luxury.
Location is amazing and within walking distance of the beach and town centre.
Would highly recommend staying here as you won't be disappointed it's perfect.

Short stay

I stayed in this two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with my husband and 89 year old dad.  I honestly cannot praise Sandra enough for the very high standards that she provides.  
I really struggled to find somewhere to stay that had two bathrooms and where it was all on one level.  (There are 3 quite steep steps down into the apartment but my dad managed them fine)
I also wanted a warm place with comfortable beds and was not disappointed.  It seemed like everything had been thought out really well, there was nothing we were short of.
The 50" smart television was a godsend as we were not blessed with good weather and were able to watch Netflix films.
So all in all I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect stay in apartment, highly recommend.

Enjoyed another short break at Avenue Park.  Always made to feel welcome by Sandra and she does a lovely full english breakfast. Rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of tea/coffee provided and very much like the fact a small fridge in the dining room is stocked with mini jugs of fresh milk to be taken to your room if you prefer it to the little uht cartons. Great location for a walk to the sea front and marina.

another great stay

We stayed for 7 nights in the "superior" room, which was great.  The room is large, well laid out (eg towel rail next to the shower, coat hooks on the door), lots of thoughtul touches such as biscuits in the room each day, fresh milk, being able to use the fridge, bottled water available each day.  It was very clean.  The hotel is about 7 minutes walk from the station, the same distance from the sea, and unlike a lot of hotels in Torquay, is not on a hill (although there are a few steps up to the front door).  The breakfasts were great, with cereal, fruit, yogurts and lots of choice for the cooked breakful, which was delicious.

Lovely holiday

How to describe this establishment? It is perfect! Firstly by the warm welcome of Sandra who will explain everything to you about Torquay and its surroundings. Then, the rooms are impeccable, the rooms are extremely clean, the bedding is excellent, the bathroom is very well arranged and the decoration of the premises is very tasty with its carpet. Breakfast will satisfy all desires with the choice of a continental or ang breakfast. Finally, the establishment is close to the sea and 20 minutes' walk from the center of Torquay, which allows you to visit the ferry around the cities, shop or participate in tea-time thanks to B, I highly recommend it!!!

Flawless

The Avenue Park Guest House is a lovingly decorated B&B. You can feel that the hostess takes her B&B with a lot of joy. Our room (the cheapest) was small, but nicely decorated. We didn't feel the location of the B&B was ideal. You walked a good half hour until you reached the town of Torquay. Torquay itself has a beautiful harbour, but it's not a juwel.

We experienced Southengland pure: a great English house, a small but flowery and colourful garden, as you would expect in Southengland, typically English and very individually decorated rooms, warmth and great service all around. Absolutely child- and teen-friendly and she's family friendly. The location is ideal and pedestrian to the beach, to the city or to the hills of small fancy serpentine streets to hidden properties and gardens. The hostess radiates a lot of heart and hospitality and is for us the concept of a real English lady. We would return at any time! The booking there was uncomplicated and very entertaining - all by mail.
