Excellent place to stay in Torquay. Neil, Noom and lovely, very well-behaved dog Millie went beyond and above their way to make us feel at home. Great English breakfast with deliciously fresh fruits and a distinguished menu to choose from for your breakfast. And what’s even more, if you are lucky, you may take home some of the homemade, price winning orange marmalade. Neil took outstanding efforts in making our stay comfortable and supported us with great sightseeing tips and recommendations of restaurants.
The house is a genuine Victorian Villa, the rooms are decorated with style, the garden is an oasis of peace and beauty. We would love to come back any time.

Relax and feel like a Victorian Nobleman

This was our second stay at Trafalgar House, Neil remembered us and exactly when we stayed last even though it was 5 years ago and emailed us after we booked with a warm message. 

Neil was very welcoming and helpful texting us to let us know when the room was ready for us to check in, we had a warm welcome and Neil gave us lots of recommendations on places to visit and eat and changes since our last visit to Torquay, hes very knowledgeable on the area.

The hotel was very clean, lovely gardens and all rooms clean and to a good standard.

Breakfasts were fantastic, a good selection of cereals, fresh fruit, cooked breakfasts or continental and all great quality, set you up well for a busy day ahead.

Great place to stay warm friendly, clean and comfortable.

Neil was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived,the room and en suite was immaculate as was the house the breakfast was very good with a good selection of either cereals,fresh fruit ,yogurts and a delicious cooked breakfast would highly recommend this lovely place if visiting Torquay

Trafalgar House Hotel,Torquay

Trafalgar House is a delightful property and our room was lovely. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great. The seafront is an easy walk and it was good to have off street parking. A great choice for a Torquay based holiday. 

Lovely Torquay hotel

We booked the day before our trip, only small double available.  Very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was fine, comfortable double bed, comfortable easy chair, goodsized TV, good mirrors, sufficient wardrobe and drawer space and very good bathroom. VERY clean. Neil made us very welcome and was a very good host. The breakfasts were very good with a good choice of freshly prepared food. All the preserves were made by Neil in house and they were delicious. There was  a lovely sitting room and a lovely sunny garden to sit in.

Excellent B&B

We had a really pleasant stay at Trafalgar House and a superlative find it was. It’s very clean, homely and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in. The location is great and in a nice quiet area, a short walk away from the seafront. Breakfast was scrumptious and there’s a great selection to choose from, including the delicious homemade jams and marmalade. Neil and Noom are fantastic hosts and kindly surprised us with Easter eggs on Easter Sunday.

The best place to stay in Torquay, no doubt.

My third visit and once again this b+b exceeded expectations. The room, the service and the atmosphere all great. Wonderful breakfasts with homemade marmalade and jam and a warm comfortable sitting room with a log burning stove. What a treat

Welcome winter break in Torquay

We had a wonderful stay chez the Trafalgar House B&B.  Location was spot on about 10 - 15 minutes from the sea front past the unmissable crazy golf!  Neil was a wonderful and welcoming host always ready to assist. The bedrooms were very well presented with very comfortable beds.  The shower maybe could do with a little more power but its not something to ruin a stay.  Noon worked wonders with Breakfast which was outstanding and set you up for the day.  A couple of pubs within a short walk was also nice

Trafalgar House a Torquay Oasis

From the pre visit communications to the welcome at the door right through to check out this morning we have been made to feel so welcome.
Been looked after so well and made to feel as if we are guests in their house as opposed to paying customers. Neil is such a lovely and attentive host and Noom does a marvelous job of the cooking. As for Millie the boxer she is just a sweetie. Our first ever visit to torquay and we have already booked a return trip and naturally we are staying here again.

Booked Trafalgar House for the last week of August. Wow what a real gem of a find

Met by the owner Neil on arrival with a warm welcome.

The house is a beautiful Victorian building with a beautiful garden. The house is immaculate from outside to all the rooms. 

We walked all the time to the sea front as the location of the house is about a 15 minute walk. 

Neil was an amazing host and knows what attention to detail regards making his guests feel special. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options and no problem if I wanted something slightly different.  Neil was knowledgeable about the area and places to see.

Would I recommend this B and B, 100% I would and if you can then book.
