We regularly visit relatives in Torquay and booked Linde House our usual B&B was under new ownership.   
Linden House ticked all the boxes!  Mark & Donna were lovely, friendly  hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them.
We stayed in two Suites which were both beautifully decorated and immaculate.
Breakfast was really tasty and it is a shame it was only a 'whistlestop' stay this time.
We will definately not hesitate to come back!

Fantastic Stay

Donna and Mark fantastic hosts. Situated just away from hassle and bustle, easy walking distance  to seafront, shops, restaurants and pubs. This place was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was superb . I will recommend to all my friends .

A B&B Gem

Stayed here for three nights. Donna and Mark are great hosts. The breakfast is great. Lovely room with a great shower. Short ten minute walk to town centre.  Will definitely stay here again when visiting Torquay. Cannot recommend enough, well worth a stay.

Great Stay

We  stayed at Linden House at the end of August for4 nights. Donna & Mark had just recently  taken over and are a lovely couple.They will do really well. Beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the garden suite which is amazing, your own private entrance ,table,chairs and parasol. You can see and hear the ducks in the lovely garden.Lovely breakfast and good choice. Fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of fresh milk every morning,teas, coffee and biscuits.We would strongly recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from the Linden House .Donna and Mark have only been there a few weeks what a lovely welcome we had ,we stayed in the Redgate room it was a very good size  room and nice and quite . The breakfast was very good with a good choice.
We did make use of the lounge one afternoon  very elegant and I must say it is the best I have ever been in the large windows over looking a pleasant garden it was a pleasure to sit and read there.
Parking was ok but could be a bit tight however Mark was trying to make a bit more space to get an extra car in .
The walk into Torquay was very pleasant we cut through Tor Abbey which was a good short cut.
When we are in Torquay again I will be booking up a gain Good Luck to you both .

Perfect stay

We stayed at Linden House for 5 nights from 22nd August and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this small hotel. The room and hotel were  smart and very clean. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were really tasty and well presented. Do not hesitate to book this accomodation you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Accommodation and Service

Hotel is immaculately presented. Donna and Mark, who had only started out as hoteliers a month ago, made us feel very welcome. The  Torre Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very unfussy but very nice. Will definitely stay again.  

Linden House Hotel, Torquay RECOMMENDED 

Really enjoyed our stay with the new owners of Linden House  lovely breakfast really well presented 
and served Mark & Donna are new to hospitality but the confidence grew each day and on leaving I’m confident they will continue to make Linden house a success . We have stayed at Linden House several times over the years and most certainly will be staying again beautiful bedroom minutes from the sea  and great new hosts what’s not to love !

Welcoming stay

We’ve just got back from a little weekend away.  We love Torquay and because our kids are now of the age they can look after their selves we decided to book into a little hotel get away, just the 2 of us.   My husband found Linden House online and it looked beautiful,  well looked after and the reviews were good.  
We were greeted by Carol,  who manages the hotel with her husband,  she was so lovely and welcoming.  Our room was spotless and clean,  tea & coffee facilities,  bottled water and biscuits.  We had plenty of towels and toiletries and carol assured us any thing we needed extra of we were only to ask.  We didn’t need to ask for anything,  our room had plenty of everything. 
We ate breakfast both mornings in the hotel breakfast room,  again Carol couldn’t do enough for us,  the selection of breakfast options available were plentiful, from the traditional full English to cereal or porridge to salmon & eggs all served  with juice, water or hot drinks. 
Lots of the other guests we met were returning visitors to Linden House and I can see why,  Carol & Mike run a truly lovely establishment, spotless, lovely rooms and wonderful food.  Their guests had clearly also become friends and Carol has an amazing memory as she recalls everyone’s hot & cold drink choices! 
I would say we couldn’t fault our visit but we found out Carol & Mike are moving on,  we would definitely return but feel that our experience may have been different if it hadn’t been for Carol & Mike,  they are clearly the heart of Linden House Hotel and I’m not sure our experience would have been the same without them! 
Thank you both for a wonderful weekend.  Your little hotel is truly a little gem and we only wish we had discovered you sooner, we would definitely have become one of your returning visitors.

Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend in the garden suite. Beautiful hotel, friendly owners and fantastic breakfast and the room and bed where both comfortable and well decorated and clean and short walk to the centre
