We have stayed at Streamcombe Farm on a number of occasions and our recent stay has again been a delight.The location is rural and peaceful,the accommodation clean and comfortable and the food (we had supper on one of the nights)was interesting and tasty.A great place to stay .

I had the pleasure of attending a cookery school session on Saturday ran by Ian 

The standard of tutorship together with the hands on approach was brilliant 

I think all who attended learnt so much !

I will be attending another course and the location is so beautiful and rural

We could have spent a week here and not been bored.  The welcome was friendly, the room very comfortable and warmly furnished and the food was unusual and excellent.  I did the Vegetarian cookery course at which I learned a huge amount.  There were lots of things I would like to have done for which there obviously wasn't enough time!

Magical setting. Wonderful and accommodating hosts made for a perfect day.
The woodland glen was a fairytale venue for the marriage and everything went perfectly from start to finish. 
Nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed for two nights in April 2019 and had an excellent vacation. The accommodation was nicely set out and very comfortable. On one of the nights we opted for the dinner which was very impressive. Ian is really an excellent cook and it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on his cooking while staying

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Streamcombe Farm. The accommodation is in a beautiful setting, so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were smashing, the accommodation perfect, and the breakfast was just scrumptious. Thank-you for a perfect weekend. Would highly recommend.

We had a three night stay after our wedding . It was brilliant . Ian and Karen were charming and food truly gorgeous . Everything was gorgeous about the accommodation . We had a lovely room with en-suite shower and bath . Everything was done with care and attention and we felt cacooned and spoilt during our stay . A great destination for a wedding / honeymoon/ hen party . Fab walking and we enjoyed exploring Dulverton and Exmoor .

We stayed here last about 8 years ago and returned to have another wonderful stay. Streamcombe Farm is very secluded and is the epitome of "getting away from it all" being down a quarter mile track and with no neighbouring properties. The Hayloft room is spacious and has a wonderful bathroom. We didn't eat this time but Ian is a great chef and breakfast is fit for a king. Friendly, superbly comfortable, with great food and a great base for exploring Exmoor, we can't recommend Streamcombe enough.

Best B&B we've been to in a long time!

I was given a cookery course by my wife (£125) at Streamcombe and chose a curry day.However,circumstances prevailed and I couldn't make it and requested to move it to another one.
Although the proprietor was sympathetic they reverted to their T's & C's and told us we couldn't.They did advertise on their site a further place but,as it was within 7 days of the course,nobody was able to take it up.
They have every right to revert to T's & C's but we lost not only an expensive birthday present but any desire to do other courses here.
We considered it an unnecessarily hard line and quite uncommercial.And my wife was very unhappy at losing all her £125 and I my present!!.It's a shame as we planned to do other courses and I recommend they change their hardline views to ensure nobody else is put off by this approach.
