Three Cocks Hotel

It’s like the owners thought… ‘what would I like in a hotel?’ And did that. The whole experience felt like a home away from home yet a luxury and quaint experience which is wholly unique. We were welcomed by a smiley and friendly hostess and shown to our room. It was called the ‘cosy twin’ because it’s small and functional but cosy is accurate, way big enough for us two . Think two beds, desk, shelves plenty of room for my sister and I. The towels actually wrapped round the body and were soft, the shower was powerful and lovely. The beds were soft yet supportive and the duvets were warm. We couldn’t be happier with it. We love the decor too! There is a drawing room with music, a fire in the entry way, chess and other classic games dotted around and the finishing touches of jars of sweets around. There is a fridge with fresh milk and water in behind the reception desk which added a little bit of joy to the stay. We ordered breakfast, and in keeping with the whole experience, was delicious and catered for vegetarians. We just couldn’t be more relaxed and happy. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the window was lovely. Thank you for an amazing stay and I can honestly say I will come here again and it’s the best experience we’ve had on a quick overnight trip!
