The Temple Inn

Rooms were really comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was first class with excellent service.

The most perfect place to stay. Everything was so good i.e cleanliness, food, atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant staff  friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good ensuite.  Compact room, fine for single occupation, would be cramped for two. May be other rooms cater for two guests. Food was good.  As property is situated on a main road which made locating it easy, some heavy traffic noise at times. Overall a pleasant stay and would book again.

Being Coeliac was really pleased with the GF options on the menu and even had a GF ale on draft at the bar, made a nice change from Cider.Stayed at 4 different places during our walking holiday and this was our favourite 🙂👍

We enjoyed a brief one night stay at the Temple Inn.Rooms are small but functional and aside a lightbulb being out, everything was fine.The pub itself where we eat and breakfasted was excellent the home cooked food both dinner and breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and engaging and we enjoyed the food greatly.Good choice...

We had a great overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and very quiet accomodation. Had an evening meal in the Temple Inn resturant which was fantastic, amazing food, hospitality and environment.

Faultless - food was incredible, staff were friendly and helpful, manager couldn't do enough for us, room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, would highly recommend, I would definitely stay again

The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that you also book a table as we almost didn’t get fed! Breakfast had a good menu and was quickly delivered.

We stayed at this property for one night prior to our flight. The property was easy to find and on arrival staff were accommodating and friendly! The bar had a good atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!Breakfast was next level - best cooked breakfast we’ve had. Thanks for such a great stay!

Great find; this hotel has everything you need and nothing you don't. Breakfast (full English) is honestly the best I've ever had at a hotel (and I used to travel for business, all over Europe, so this is a pretty strong recommendation).Comfy bed, hot shower, great breakfast. What more could you need?

Room really good, breakfast amazing.

Very lovely overnight stay:  we had a wonderful meal in the pub and a very comfortable night in the guest room. The accommodation is modern, clean and warm with everything you need,  the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the welcome and service was incredibly hospitable.  We had 2 rooms, (two couples) and we will definitely stay here again.  About 25 minute drive from Bath city centre

Stayed for one night November 2023 - lovely and friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help. Room was a little on the small side but spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The road outside is a little noisy but doesn’t get busy until about 7am. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely lovely. The hotel is in a nice location, halfway between Bristol and Bath, with regular bus service to Glastonbury, Bristol and Bath, and lots of nice walks close by. The car park also has an EV charger. We would definitely stay again.

Book here you won’t regret it .Adam and Lee were wonderful hosts.Adam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.The Restaurant meals were to a very good standard and top quality whilst retaining is home cooked feel.The pub was a small village bar with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Beds were very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. There was tea making facilities and the tea coffee tray was well stocked. Small Fans were supplied in our rooms (so after reading some old reviews regarding the rooms being hot before I booked to stay here), I’m happy to say this was NOT an issue for us at all and the temperature was very comfortable. My biggest  observation is what a wonderful ambience that Adam and Lee have created in their hotel/pub and it sure shows in how relaxed, kind and happy their staff are. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Excellent guest house just off to the side of the pub so it is lovely and quite. It is modern, clean and warm. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely stunning! We had the veggie breakfast and the full breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. The staff where wonderful and even pointed us to the closest take away after the kitchen closed. Very close to Bristol and rural enough to get away from the busy city life.
