Previously stayed here numerous times and the last time I left a negative review, so time to update.
This year we stayed, staff very lovely on arrival, helpful, chatty and friendly. 
I believe some of the rooms have had an update,  we stayed in room 24 and it was lovely, it was very cosy, fresh and looked clean.
It really did need an update in the rooms so I'm super happy they've done this as its our go to hotel for coming to visit family.

New shower, new carpet, new furniture. 

Very central hotel between a retail park and the castle grounds and town centre, easy to walk to and very convenient.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights.  We find it very easy to find.  The  location was good.  The rooms were very pleasant, clean and comfortable.  The staff were friendly and very helpful.   Will stay again.

Had a one night stay in a Premier Plus room. The room was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and we both had a good nights sleep. Free ultimate WiFi and free bottles of water an added bonus. Location was very quiet.

I went to Tamworth to watch my grandson play rugby and this was the hotel the school had booked. The staff were friendly, the bed comfortable.the bathroom ideal, very clean, nice and central to shops and eating places. The only problem was the insulation from sound from the room above mine. Someone started walking at 5.30 until they went out at about 7.. There was no USB plug for the mobile but the staff brought me a plug. 

Excellent stay at a competitive price. Room clean, well equipped. All staff friendly and welcoming without exception. Ate at Beefeater for evening meal and breakfast. Food quality exceptional for the price. All staff so helpful and friendly 

This hotel is perfect for Drayton Manor and the Snowdome, and ideal for shops and restaurants over the road. We visited all three.  It has a Beefeater onsite, or you can wander across the road to the chain restaurants. If you forget toiletries or need addition clothes there are a few supermarkets and clothes shops under 5 minutes walking distance. We were lucky enough to have receptionist called Jenny who gave us a very warm welcome and advised us of local things to do, I was very impressed with her. We stayed 3 nights here and would definitely stay again.

Had a amazing week with you the staff was all so lovely we would really say it's the place to be. You have all the shops and pub on the door step a sort stroll to the town will be staying again soon. Thank you all 

Exceptional good service. I left a personal item behind and one of your staff Jenny took the time to package it for me and print out the printer label I emailed to the hotel for the courier to pick it up from the hotel and deliver to me. Also you have a very honest housekeeping services and one of the housekeeper must have found it after I checked out and handed it in to the receptionist. So thanks.

Arrived Christmas Eve a couple of hours before official check in time but that was no problem for Gail on front desk...she checked us in and supplied us with several items we requested very promptly. Took our breakfast bookings and generally made us feel at home. Been to this hotel probably a dozen times and they are always excellent.

Stayed for 5 nights during the heatwave in mid August (24-27 degrees) Room was nicely appointed, decor and furniture looked new and it was clean. Shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Beefeater next door and parking right outside - easy to enter reg details for free parking at main reception. Short walk into Tamworth across the bridge and within walking distance to the huge Ventura retail park.
Unfortunately the room was right on the dual carriageway/roundabout so noisy all night. Being so hot and needing to have the window open staying asleep and not being woken by fast/noisy cars and bikes was an issue. Fan in the room was useful but with a south facing room just circulated hot air.
Reception staff were amazing, very helpful, someone was always available and super friendly but professional. I forgot to ask for my room to be cleaned one day however this wasnt an issue due to reception staff being so helpful in getting fresh towels and emptying bins etc. Would stay again but not when its hot as there's no air con here

Very friendly staff and brilliant location

Found the Premier Inn very clean and considering its location neara busy road the soundproofing was excellent. The bed was a little harder than we like and the water pressure in the shower was poor but otherwise it suited our purpose. We ate a full breakfast and one evening meal in the Beefeater next door but found the food disappointing in quality although the staff were brilliant and very friendly

Exceptional service

Upon arrival at the hotel we recieved a warm welcome from the check in staff who took time to interact with our chatty 4 year old. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable and practical as you would expect from a Premier Inn. The only reason it was not a 5 star rating is the time waiting for the evening meal. Trying to keep a hungry and tired 4 year old happy with an extended wait is not easy.
