We couldn't think of a more perfect place to go for our engagement weekend having stayed with the wonderful Jackie & Roger before. They made us as welcome as ever in the beautifully appointed room 5. I was booked into the Guest House through the people who arrange travel for my work. I have to admit I did not know what to expect when i arrived. I was met by the owner, a lovely friendly lady, who showed me to a more than adequate size room. 

The area is very quiet and I slept very well.

If your in the area, I would recommend this accommodation.

‘The Old Post Office’ in South Marston Wiltshire was a great place to stay, with Jackie & Roger who were the perfect hosts, it was just like home,with everything you needed for break from the old routine.Beautifully  spotless rooms all with en- suite facilities, and very comfortable beds.We enjoyed  time with them too,especially listening to Jackie’s wonderful operatic voice. We were recommended to stay there to attend our favourite country singer Chris Bannister’s gig in the village hall..
Ashort drive from Swindon,Lechlade by the river Thames-where there is a Christmas shop.Golf course & fishing.National trust Bucot House & park.(check for opening hours).

After a tough experience in the nearby village I was seeking a refuge for a night. This accommodation was suggested to me by local people from that village and I was grateful. 
On arrival I was welcomed by a lovely lady called Jackie, who made me feel very welcome. I felt I was in safe hands under a peaceful roof straight from the start. The room was pretty, very clean, high standard. I was offered a quality bread and jam for breakfast and cereals. I discovered that Jackie was an opera singer. She sang beautifully. What a talent. What an experience. 
The house was clean and very comfortable throughout. High standards. There was a little, well maintained garden with a nice gazebo, garden furniture and statues, where I was able to spend an evening with my fiends. 
Both Jackie and her husband were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend their place and would be back in a second.  Thank you for welcoming me and for your kindness.

The room was lovely clean and well equipped and we were given a very warm welcome. Jackie could not do enough for us. Despite the current restrictions ample food and use of equipment to have a lovely breakfast. We hope to visit again soon!

Jackie was a friendly and welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless, and very homely (so much better than a bland chain hotel!). The shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast was a huge bonus and we got way more than you would expect - strawberries, waffles, toast, cereals, cakes, etc etc. They managed to fit us in last minute over the phone, and even gave us a double bed which wasn’t available as an option online! To top it all off, Roger gave us a souvenir to remember our stay. I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely stay again. Thanks!

I’ve stayed here for just over a month on business and have always been made to feel extremely welcome.  Jackie and Roger are perfect hosts and I feel like I have made a lasting friendship.  I will often pop in to have a chat with Jackie who always welcomes you with a hug and a smile. Fabulous hospitality, with hosts that are there if you need them or if you fancy a catch up, but who give you the flexibility to come and go as you please!

The establishment is in a quiet location, out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the town, but conveniently located, just a short drive from town, local retail parks and Sainsburys for those much needed essentials!

The accommodation is spotlessly clean, rooms are well appointed with everything you need, and well thought out in terms of layout.  The rooms are of good quality and tastefully decorated making it a comfortable, home from home, restful environment.

The breakfast room has a quaint cottage style feel with pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, crumpets and pancakes, toaster and microwave.  You are able to eat in and relax  or grab and go if you prefer.  Jackie allows you to bring your own food into the establishment, and even recommends local takeaways, as well as places to eat out.

As a woman travelling alone, I wanted accommodation which was in a safe location, quiet, safe and secure and obviously clean and modern. I wasn’t disappointed on any of these fronts and would happily recommend this b&b to anyone visiting the area.

Very warm welcome from the lovely Jackie, excellent customer service. Would highly recommend a visit for work or pleasure. We were up and off to work before breakfast but could help ourselves to cereals, toast, bagels, croissants and jam tea and coffee fresh fruit. Nice little village pub down the road for an evening meal and liquidations

Beautiful house in the countryside. We were welcomed by the lovely hostess who made us feel welcomed. Very pretty room with amazing bed. Fantastic information in the guidebook about local pubs and places to eat. 

Overall, lovely night spent here and would recommend. Great value for money.
