Spacious room, Comfortable bed and pillows.
Large verandah, fabulous views of the marina.

We booked four rooms out for our wedding guests on Friday 2nd sept . I phoned to speak to the manager who could not be more accommodating for our guests .The room was left lovely for me and my new husband to get back to . We had 28 people for breakfast on the Saturday and everything was perfect . The tables were set out lovely we all had a lovely full English breakfast with pastries , juice and tea . All the staff was very helpful especially Janna who made sure everything was perfect .
Will defiantly be coming back .

From check in to check out everything was spot on,I have to be honest I've stayed here before and have never felt so welcome as I did this time round.
I believe the manager is fairly new Jenna or something on those lines,well what service she gave us and this went a very long way in to us having a five star stay.
Breakfast was good and piping hot and the chef and his team made us an evening meal which again was amazing,the beer could have been a little colder but apparently talking with manager its all in hand,so looking forward to my next visit and the owners have done a stirling job getting themselves a manager that is incredible,well done.I will be back!!

We had a couple of days near Hythe next to the New Forest. We ended up staying at the Boathouse and all I can say is WOW! We had a good run down so got to Hythe early and had lunch at the Boathouse. Good menu, good prices and great portions of lovely freshly cooked food.

We had our evening meal at the hotel as planned and it was as above, great. We had a good chat with the manager, Kerry who although busy made us feel very welcome and part of the place. Breakfast was also very good, breakfast like the other meals are from the menu obviously but they are only too happy to mix and match or swap things around. I think my main plus is the fact everything is cooked fresh.

As for our hotel room, again we could not fault a thing and our views were great, we had views looking across to Southampton and down to the solent. We spent ages with the windows wide open watching the boats, including some big ships, going up and down.

If you look at where Hythe Marina is located you will see its a great location for dozens of places of interest, well worth a visit...

My wife and I visited family,  we would not hesitate to book again.

Stayed 3 nights and was stunned how exceptional this place is! The location is perfect overlooking the marina with lovely walks on your doorstep. 

The staff are all amazing and really go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Lovely people. 

Our room was superb and really good value for money. Excellent facilities, luxurious bedding and modern fixtures and fittings. Would recommend Room 7 with amazing views and a balcony. So spacious and inviting. All mod cons, even a fridge in the rooms which was a real bonus. Have stayed in many places locally and this exceeded all our expectations. 

The restaurant was lovely, great atmosphere and amazing food. The chef obviously takes pride in his work and all the staff work well as a team to give that personalised service. 

Thanks for a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying again soon.

Just live the Boathouse, we’ve been coming here for about 15 years and stay 1 or 2 nights, we usually stay twice a year, we travel about 3 hours to get there and just love the relaxed vibe, the food, the drinks, the rooms and the surroundings. 
Food is of excellent standard and the menu is inventive and varied. Staff all lovely and there is nothing better on a sunny day to sit and watch the world go by with a glass of chilled wine. We are due to return in October and can’t wait.

Wow what an amazing place! Beautiful location and atmosphere. The Staff Daniel and Michaela were so amazing and nothing was too much!! They made the evening. Us 5 loved every minute and will be returning. I credit them for managing a busy day with such attentive customer service, truly amazing. Thank you!

We booked 3 rooms for our Easter break for 4 nights.All great. Friendly staff and an excellent base for Hythe and day trips.Hotel met all our requirements and lovely views.
Breakfasts good and all staff really accommodating.

We went to The Boathouse Hotel, at Hythe, for breakfast and everything from the booking, parking, arrival, friendly service, food, atmosphere and view was fantastic, I cannot reccomend this place highly enough. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we are going to go back there next week for another breakfast and maybe try an evening meal on another day.

Popped in for a few drinks, had a lovely time. I would like to thank Janna  for a wonderful time. She made it extra special. We were made to feel so welcome.
Great place to visit, will have food next time & definately recommend it.

Great stay

This place is in a fantastic location with great views. The room is a decent size and all you need but, the restaurant had a very limited menu on a Sunday evening, last orders for food was 5.45pm, drinks are pricey and the decor is scruffy, oh and I had ants crawling on me whilst sat on a sofa in the bar area. Breakfast is 7am - 10am, the time is currently 7.45am and the restaurant is still locked up. Everything considered I'm expecting Basil Fawlty to show up at any minute. If you showed this place some love, it could be a gold mine.

Hit & miss

Stayed for 1 night for work, I have stayed here a few times, my last visit 2019. I like the location of the hotel and the rooms are good too. The food used to be very good but unfortunately the evening meal I had wasn’t up to scratch. Breakfast service wasn’t available at 0800 as the chef was late for work so can’t comment on that. Not sure if I will stay again, but definitely won’t eat here again.
