We were warmly welcomed by the owner Lesley on arrival and our room was all ready for us even though  we were  an hour early. The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we had a lovely one nights stay. Only 5 minutes walk to the harbour where most of the bars and restaurants are.

I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for our enjoyable stay.

Absolutely fantastic 2 night stay in this lovely bed and breakfast. Room was very clean.  Amazing views sitting on the patio.  Lesley and Robert were extremely welcoming making sure we were looked after. The breakfast was fabulous and will definitely book again

Blinkbonnie must be one of the cleanest, best run guesthouses in Scotland. A beautiful quiet position above Portpatrick, looking out over a lovely garden to the sea. Great breakfasts and attentive hosts. An excellent base for exploring Galloway and beyond. I can't praise it too highly!

Blinkbonnie is a superb little guest house. Our spotlessly clean room, a well cooked breakfast every morning and friendly and helpful hosts, all have ensured that our week's stay in Portpatrick  has been a truly super one. The house itself is in a lovely elevated position which means you get super views down through the village to the harbour. You can enjoy this from Blinkbonnie's front terrace where you can sit in an evening. 
Portpatrick is a little gem of a village, friendly and welcoming. I hope we can return.

We booked this guest house in order to enjoy the wonders of Portpatrick. Easy to locate and has its own parking too which is a bonus! The room was well laid out, spotless clean too. Breakfast was superb also! Both Robert and Lesley made you welcome and it was ideally located for the harbour and local sites. Certainly worth a visit and we would highly recommend it.

Excellent guest house. I popped in on the off chance we could use the toilet once we arrived even though check wasn't for another couple of hours. Met by Lesley who even though was on the phone and very busy allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. We booked 2 rooms and both were spotlessly clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was also very nice and the lady who served us very polite and always checking everything was ok and if we needed anything else. We will definitely stay at blinkbonnie again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful scrupulously clean guesthouse, breakfast was lovely as was the service.

The view of the harbour and surrounding hills and cliffs is stunning, a perfect place to stay for a week. We will definitely be back again next year

Our first visit to Portpatrick to visit relatives in the area, my partner and I spent a few nights at Blinkbonnie, and it certainly won’t be the last visit to this exceptional accommodation. 
The owners Lesley and Robert were so warm welcoming and accommodating. 
We slept well in the comfortable twin room as there wasn’t a vacancy for a double but it was lovely spacious room with ensuite. 
Our breakfast was hearty and delicious, and what I also call “cleanly” presented (not greasy, just lovely and fresh) 
In fact everything was spotlessly clean and the views from the front of the house… are simply stunning! 
We look forward to visiting again

Fantastic

Wonderful hospitality and spotlessly clean.

1st visit to PortPatrick and stayed one night at Blink Bonnie. Up a ‘’not too strenuous’’ short hill about 3-4 mins from harbour area. We could not fault this guest house at all. Totally spotless, clean and freshly decorated. Very comfortable bed and a quiet room, nicely furnished. Lesley and Robert were so friendly. Breakfast was perfectly cooked. We would most definitely return to Blink Bonnie when visiting again which we plan to hopefully later this year. Thank you for looking after us.

Lovely overnight stay!!

We spent a very enjoyable 3 nights here. Lesley and Robert were the perfect hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable. A good choice was offered at breakfast. The harbour is a short walk away and we can recommend Connor's Restaurant for eating out (check opening days -  closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays at present).  We had a lovely day out at the Mull of Galloway and Logan Botanic Gardens. For walking, the Southern Uplands Way starts just after the lifeboat Station.

Great stay in a great place

Just returned from an amazing 2 night break in the  immaculate Blinkbonnie  guest house. The hosts Lesley and Robert ( and the handsome dog Cooper) could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Their beautiful home sits elevated above the harbour with a perfectly maintained landscaped garden offering the most wonderful views, and you  are only a short stroll from the Main Street . The dining room offers picturesque  views as you tuck into a delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Bedroom and en-suite were spotless and the bed was so comfortable.I would challenge anyone to find fault with anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to get back again as soon as possible. Thanks to our marvellous hosts for everything.

Picture perfect Portpatrick

We visited as 2 couples for a 4 night stay. The welcome was excellent. Lesley the proprietor thoroughly explained all the the Covid regulations. They were extremely helpful regarding places to visit and places to eat. The rooms were spotless and there was an ample supply of free tea, coffee and milk. Also free bottles of water. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of ingredients. The location of the guest house is inspiring and all the rooms are on the ground floor. There is a wonderful patio area but due to Covid restrictions and social distancing you are not able currently to use it.
 I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
