Cross Haven Guest House

Having arrived very tired from the Belfast to Stranraer by ferry, late in the evening, we decided to stay the night locally, if we could find accommodation , with our four dogs. I telephoned Cross Haven Guesthouse having found it on google under searching ' pet friendly accommodation.' From the word go, the owner Mick, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. He offered us a room at a very reasonable rate of £55 plus £10 pp for a very good breakfast , cooked by Micks friendly wife, the next morning. The en-suite room was immaculate and had many little features and extras not normally found in this modest price bracket. I would not hesitate to stay here again and to recommend this charming guest house to anyone needing to stay in the area: especially with such a warm welcome as we received, to us and our family ( our dogs!)
