I stayed one night on a stop over and it was lovely. It's only 5 minutes walk to the little town. You have great free from the hotel.
I must say the breakfast was great and their was plenty to choose from. I had the big Scottish breakfast and that kept me going all day.
I would stay there again, very clean the guy was very friendly. 

I stayed here for two nights on either side of a day trip to Ireland. Matthew and Shelley looked after me very well, provided secure storage for my motorbike and fed me an excellent breakfast. Will stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst walking the coastal paths. I had stayed a few years ago and had a memory that it was a good place to stay and had my expectations confirmed. Matthew and Shirley are a lovely couple who keep the B and B spotlessly clean and provide a varied and plentiful breakfast. They are friendly and helpful and made me feel at home. I had a twin en-suite room that was roomy and comfortable and even had a small fridge. It was the cheapest B and B of my walk and, whilst not as modern as the most expensive, it provided everything I needed and more. I would highly recommend Harbour Guest House.

I'm currently staying in this B&B and this is my second visit as a business traveller.  Both times, I've been welcomed by the owner.  He very kindly carried my suitcase up the short flight of stairs to my very spacious room with airy, pleasant en suite.  I've had the family room both times, with a gorgeous view overlooking Loch Ryan.  Breakfast is amazing, the couple are very down-to-earth, homely and so welcoming.  The B&B is minutes from the centre of town, prime location.  My room had a fridge with two bottles of chilled water which was very much appreciated.  A wide selection of hot drinks and two packets of yummy biscuits also in room.  

I don't normally write positive reviews - I expect good service as standard, but this place exceeds my expectations!  Thank you for a comfortable, relaxed stay!  My place of choice when visiting Stranraer.

Had a fabulous meal. Very friendly staff and very clean.  Beautifully location too. There are two areas to eat, we chose the smaller but bith equally nice.  Will definitely be back. Good variety on the menu and very reasonably priced.
