The early 20th Century Belvedere offers great value for money, has excellent owners, great rooms and an excellent Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend. 

this is a wonderful guest house. We were first a bid sceptical as the rate was really good compared to others in Scotland. However what a great surprise. the room was very clean, big, and all was perfectly functional. The staff were so nice and friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was great too with a choice of different dishes. We enjoyed this place. Also location is great with a short stroll to the center.

Very enjoyable night. The hosts are great, and the whole place is just homely and comfortable. My room was spacious and well appointed. Spotless too.  It is a five minute stroll from the town where there are good options for food.  Breakfast was very good.  What a B&B should be!

Sheila and Mick were wonderful hosts.  The breakfasts were great, the room was simple but clean and perfect for a single traveler.  I dropped my wallet outside the car and 2 people got it inside to Mick for safekeeping!  I hope to be back next year!

I've stay in for 5 days, absolutely love it the standards of b&b, running by superb lovely couple, very good standards according to quality of bedrooms and facilities, breakfast spot on, price absolutely worthy to choice regardless all of it, service seriously priceless, you can feel well look after so nice people, honestly

Nice friendly indepedant guest house. Some rooms are non ensuite. I've used both ensuite and non ensuite and no issues Good value for money, friendly and a good breakfast. For the price there's nothing to dislike. Internet is pretty good for working, along with desk space. For me it ticks all the boxes.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Conveniently located. A charming bit of local flavor. I'd definitely go back.

A nice cosy place

amazing food and service, highly recommend for anyone, absolutely love it

We had a nice clean room which although not large was adequate 
En-suite with shower.

Great location!

I arrived during Storm Babet to attend a family funeral, which was then postponed for 3 days. I was allowed to change the nights I needed the room and my room was ugraded at no extra charge. I experienced such kindness and consideration. My room was comfortable and warm, the bed comfortable. There was a superb choice for breakfast and well cooked.  A difficult visit was made much easier by the lovely hosts and I can highly recommend the Belvedere Hotel in Stonehaven.

Belvedare Hotel was lovely. The interior looked great. Stairs were nicely carpeted.  Shared bathroom was available when needed and clean. View from our room was charming.  The room itself was cosy and comfortable.  Everything operated perfectly. The Scottish Breakfast was excellent. My first time eating haggis. Made for a great experience in Stonehaven.The walk to and from the railroad was simple. Nice overnight stay.

Perfectly Located Belvedere Hotel

We only had one night to stay while passing through on our way from Inverness to St Andrews.  We had a long drive day and were tired and hungry! After a prompt, easy checkin we made reservations at the restaurant.  I ordered the special at the time, a chicken and wild mushroom pie that was TO DIE FOR! My husband and son ended up eating part of mine because of my rave review,  they thought it was great as well.  We hung out in the bar area and played cards and had dessert after dinner, sticky toffee pudding.. also delicious.  Highly recommend this little gem to any who stop in the area!
