Sherwood Guest House

The location is close to the beach and a short, easy walk to the town centre. There is no off street parking but a parking permit is provided for on street parking. We arrived just before 6pm and found a spot in the next street. Soon after checking in there was a free spot just across the road so with a bit of patience you should be able to park reasonably conveniently. The bonus is that the permit is for a broad area, allowing you to park in other areas around town during the time allowed. The room was fantastic. It was really spacious, had a nice outlook towards the beach from one side, with all the usual things you might expect but also lots of nice extras like a bedside clock, a power point by the mirror, tissues and even cotton buds. The towels and linen were of very good quality. The room had a very decorative ceiling which had not been spoiled when the ensuite was added in. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The room had good information about the hotel and general area. Games and books were available for guests. Breakfast was very tasty with hot options cooked to order as well as cereals, fruit and yoghurt.
